I have had this treadmill for 2 years and only use it in the coldest months of winter. I am around 135 lbs and only use it walk up to 4.0 mph. It had random issues in the first few winter, such as inclining all the way up when I turned it on, but would usually work normal after I turned it off and then on again. I have greased the belt at 300 miles as recommended and done routine cleaning. About a month ago it started shutting down when I reached around 19 minutes. I did all the troubleshooting and nothing has resolved the issue. At this point I have used it about 8 months total. My last treadmill lasted over 10 years. So disappointed!!

Treadmill

Works great and quieter than my old treadmill. Will use it on a regular basis over the winter

Nice Machine And Worth The Money

We bought this in January of 2025. Used most every day of week and it works great. No frills, but in reality, the screen that is supposed to make you think you are in mountains is hype. I have tried them at hotels and it is "silly" at best...LOL Listen to music and relax and walk / jog / run. Works as it should

Stopped working in 2 years and customer service is no help! It first started by increasing speed on it own, very unsafe. Then it started turning off in middle of usage and you could turn it back on a use it. Then it started stopping more frequently and now it won’t run at all.

Do Not Purchase Without Extended Warranty

I DO NOT recommend purchasing this treadmill without an extended warranty - I overlooked when ordering on line. I purchased one year ago and have had 3 issues so far. I bought Jan 2, 2024, picked up from store Jan 12. In April same year I heard a loud alarm, Horizon had repaired. January 16, 2025, I was on treadmill at 3.5 and all of the sudden the motor revved up past 7 MPH without assistance, what a safety issue!. Horizon installed new motor as it is covered for a lifetime although I had to pay for installation; treadmill motor is still making the same loud noise! I was told by a 2nd repairman it is the rollers and the cost would be 400.00. I have been in touch with Horizon many times to no avail even though their treadmills have been recalled over the years for same issues. Needless to say I cannot use..

Great If You Need A Large Paperweight.

Purchased in Jan 2025. At this point it has been out of commission longer then actually working. I have had three repairs in three months. Support has been very responsive but it takes a few days to get the parts, a few more to schedule a repair, and a week or so for the repairman to show up and fix it. When it works it is great but don't count on it working very long.

Easy To Use , Quiet, Great Features

I bought it a month ago to replace my 30 year old one. I love the easy to use features. I love the incline feature. The wide belt. The heart rate feature. The Bluetooth. The list goes one!!!

Lesson Learned

I ordered a treadmill from Dick’s Sporting Goods a few days ago and had to pay for delivery. I was really excited, and my husband and I put it together—it was fairly easy, but definitely a two-person job. Once we set it up, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. The treadmill ran for about 30 seconds before tripping my breaker. We assumed it was an issue with the outlet, so we bought a surge protector as recommended, but it still wouldn’t work. I called the company handling my warranty, but they brushed me off and directed me back to Dick’s since it was still within 30 days. When I contacted Dick’s, they told me I could return it for a replacement or refund—but that means I now have to rent a U-Haul to take it back next Saturday. Something told me not to buy this, but I really wanted a treadmill. I should have listened to my gut. Moral of the story: I lost money, I’m stuck with a useless warranty, and at this point, I don’t even want another treadmill—I just want my refund and to move on. Lesson learned.

Easy To Operate

Easy to assemble and easy to operate. I especially like the twist grip speed and incline controls.

I have seen a few other reviews citing similar issues, so wanted to pile one. Display shut down suddenly on me due to static shock. Repair is 2X price of new one. Horizon has a desjgn issue clearly.

Superb Customer Service!

I needed a reliable and affordable treadmill…immediately. The staff demonstrated available models (all on hand models were satisfactory) and, when we learned even the smallest model would not fit in my car, they placed it in a private truck and delivered it immediately to my home. This saved a week’s delay!

Major Design Flaw

After 14 months the LED display stopped working. Horizon put me in touch with their local repair service who came to the house for $145 and said I would need to replace the whole console even though the mechanical functions still worked. They quoted me $945 to replace the console (it is listed as a $768 part on the Horizon website). The treadmill sells for $599 but to fix it costs $945. Horizon verified the price of the part and offered no other fix for the LED display. While the treadmill still works if anything goes wrong on the console it is cheaper to buy a new treadmill than fix it.
