Think Twice Before Buying

I purchased the treadmill in Jan 2023 and only used it when the weather wouldn't allow me to get outside. Nov/Dec of 2024 is when my problem started. I noticed an odor of electrical parts getting hot. I removed the front cover and the drive motor was extremely hot. User weight capacity is nowhere near the 325 lbs and lubrication has been done according to manual instructions. Dealing with Horizon Customer Support was not good. I did not have my original sale receipt but DSG customer service emailed me a copy of it. All the information that Horizon CS requested was on the copy of the sales receipt but for some reason it was not good enough for Horizon CS. After several email to Horizon CS, they finally accepted the copy of the sale receipt and sent me a new motor. The new motor did not solve the problem, it is still getting hot. I have emailed Horizon CS again but I've not heard back from them. You should think twice before buying Horizon treadmills. If you do decided to purchase, I would recommend you save the original sales receipt and also look at getting an extended warranty. Make sure the extended warranty would cover parts and more importantly it covers labor.

Perfect

This treadmill is perfect for me. It was really easy to set up by myself. It’s quiet and the controls are simple and effective. I love the extra perch over the console to put my iPad on. The cubbies are deep enough for my water bottle. It doesn’t take up as much space as my previous treadmill and I can move it by myself!

Waste Of $1000

I recently bought this treadmill and I am extremely disappointed. I assembled it only to be greeted with a constant message of "safety key off" and "select user" along with a beeping message that does not stop. This product is a waste of time and money. Don't buy.

Hate Hate Hate

Hate hate hate this treadmill. I wish I had never purchased this. Bought June 2024 and by May 2025 it has been nothing, but a pain. It had issues with the display causing the “lube belt” to display all the time even after being cancelled. If you run too many times with this alert on the treadmill will stop mid run on you. I have felt very very unsafe using this. Also, reaching customer service is difficult because their phone tree is an endless loop. Worst purchase I have ever made. I don’t even run anymore because I am afraid of this treadmill.
