    False Advertising

    0 stars. Sent a display model when advertised as new but on sale helix 7. Transducer chipped in back and scratched on bottom. Base scratched. Literally taped in a box that had tape from the store staples on it. Not even sure if this was new and a display model.

    Great Size And Clarity For The Price

    I got this to go with my new Minnkota Terrova trolling motor. I installed the transducer on the port side of the stern on a Chaparral Sonesta 232. The base unit was installed on a ball gimbal mount to the right of the instrument cluster of which I highly recommend for total flexibility in viewing angle. My first usage was on the 4th of July weekend up at the lake. There are so many views and additional goodies on this that I didn't have time to read everything before going. As it was, the basic fish finder graph was awesome with good color and definition. The speed and temp is a nice addition. Unfortunately, I didn't have the extra cable to the motor for all the advanced things the motor can do. The unit did come with adapter cables though. It is somewhat redundant if you have the motor that already has mega down and side scanning built in. Overall, this is a nice unit for a sale price of $599 I would give it 5 stars if you could utilize both the transducer from the unit and the motor. As of now, I have to unplug the unit transducer to allow the cable from the motor transducer to be utilized for it's benefits.

    I bought this product at a bargain price. Simple instructions and easy installation. Perfect for the challenge of locating fish and structure.

    So Far Great

    Only tried it once so far, but the autochart seems to do what I want and the brightness is great. I had to make a sun shield for my old helix5 but this one is visible in full sun. Down one star because the paper manual is not much good and the downloaded manual still does not explain a lot very well. I also want to say Dick's is GREAT. My first one did not work right so after not being able to get thru to tech support (down one more star)I called the place I bought it, on-line from Moosejaw. They said I could return for refund, or exchange for another at a local Dick,s if they had one. Since I wanted one, I called several Dick'ss until I found one in stock. They exchanged it with no hassle, even though I bought it on-line.
