MEGA Live 2 is a live sonar transducer that features enhanced and vivid clarity of fish and structure. It mounts to a trolling motor shaft and delivers with three viewing modes: forward, down and landscape. It is compatible with all Humminbird APEX, SOLIX G3 and XPLORE models and Minn Kota trolling motors.

Massive Improvements From Mega Live 1

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used the MEGA Live 2 transducer this year and Humminbird has made huge strides in the forward-facing game. I consistently see fish out to 130 and my bait past 100. Landscape Mode is also phenomenal in less than 12 feet of water, and the transducer bracket makes switching modes very easy. Overall had very few issues with it and plan to run it again next year!

Megalive2 Is A Game Changer!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I paired this with an Xplore 12 and WOW!!! The clarity and simplicity of the combination makes life easy trying to work it. I took my high school team out the first time with it and instantly saw fish on the screen and they put 2 bass in the boat within 5 minutes of using it. We also watched a school of bait swim by and we followed them and watched a school of bass run up and start feeding on them. That’s when you could really see the detail and clarity as the school busted up and the bass chased them.

Needs Another Set Up Option For Mounting

ML2 is amazing. unfortunately the direction(boat icon) is useless with out an external heading sensor which i had before i upgraded to the quest and now it is in the trolling motor head. My ML2 is attached to my quest so it should show the direction that the trolling motor is pointed not the boat direction and need use of an external heading sensor ( that is not needed with the quest).

Mega Live 2 For The Win

Mega Live 2 has been huge improvement over Gen 1 and it has helped me catch more fish no doubt. Much better bait tracking and much better clarity when seeing fish size. Very happy with the improvement over Gen 1!!!

Great Improvements

I've been using this for the last 2 months, and have been using the landscape mode more and more. Even though I love my 360 and it's a constant on my bow, having the live info from ML2 has been awesome. I can't wait to use it more in the deeper water when the fish move offshore.

I have to say I'm greatly impressed with the clarity, range, target separation, and ease of switching between down/forward/landscape mode... This thing is exactly what I was hoping for. I've sat my boat side by side against a nice Garmin setup, and they no longer have the lead. I'm paired with an Xplore 10... I know some argue for larger screens, but with this Mega Live 2, and good eyes, you're just as capable with a 10" screen as you are any larger... Especially when it's not your full time job. I'm catching fish much, much shallower than I expected in forward mode. Was able to dial this in even in the midst of pollen season up shallow... If you are not running forward facing sonar, you are at a major disadvantage nowadays. It's fun finding more fish for/during a tournament... Finding fish for the kids... Watching fish behavior... Learning precise bait running depths... You do not have to sling a minnow and stare at the screen all day. Know they're there, and catch them old school if you feel like it. At least I KNOW when I'm around fish. Mega Live 2 took the guess work out of the equation!
