About This Item

MEGA Live 2 is a live sonar transducer that features enhanced and vivid clarity of fish and structure. It mounts to a trolling motor shaft and delivers with three viewing modes: forward, down and landscape. It is compatible with all Humminbird APEX, SOLIX G3 and XPLORE models and Minn Kota trolling motors.

  • Connect MEGA Live Imaging to compatible Humminbird models via the included Ethernet cable. There is no external sonar box required for installation, connects to optional sonar source like MEGA 360 Imaging® or Built-in MEGA Imaging® to the same control head
  • Compatible Humminbird control heads: All APEX, SOLIX G3 and XPLORE models (Must be MEGA Side Imaging or MEGA Down Imaging model)
  • For optimal sonar performance, it is recommended that MEGA Live Imaging be used with any Minn Kota® Ultrex™ trolling motor, a Minn Kota® Fortrex® trolling motor, or any QUEST trolling motor equipped with Built-in MEGA Imaging®
  • Includes: MEGA Live Imaging transducer with adjustable mounting bracket, 10' power cable, 20' Ethernet cable and mounting hardware

Needs Another Set Up Option For Mounting

ML2 is amazing. unfortunately the direction(boat icon) is useless with out an external heading sensor which i had before i upgraded to the quest and now it is in the trolling motor head. My ML2 is attached to my quest so it should show the direction that the trolling motor is pointed not the boat direction and need use of an external heading sensor ( that is not needed with the quest).

I've been using this for the last 2 months, and have been using the landscape mode more and more. Even though I love my 360 and it's a constant on my bow, having the live info from ML2 has been awesome. I can't wait to use it more in the deeper water when the fish move offshore.
