Clunky Feel And Poor Foot Security

recently purchased the Hunter Women’s Wales Waterproof Rain Booties and unfortunately experienced notable issues with sizing and overall fit. I am consistently a true size 9 in footwear, so I initially ordered a size 9. However, the boots fit significantly larger than expected, closer to what I would consider a size 10. The excess space made them feel loose and unstable when walking. In an attempt to correct the issue, I exchanged them for a size 8. While this size adjustment allowed my toes to reach the front of the boot, it did not resolve the primary concern. The heel and midfoot areas still feel unsecured, resulting in noticeable slippage with each step. Despite sizing down a full size, the boots do not provide the locked-in, supportive feel one would expect. Additionally, the boots feel somewhat clunky during wear. Instead of moving naturally with the foot, they feel slightly detached, as though they are not properly anchored. This affects both comfort and confidence while walking, particularly for a style intended to offer dependable wear in wet conditions. While the waterproof quality and overall appearance align with the Hunter brand’s reputation, the inconsistent sizing and lack of secure fit significantly impact the overall experience. I would recommend trying them on in person, before purchasing.

Not Attractive Boots

Personally, I didn’t like the look of the boots and thought they were ugly. I gave 3 stars because I’m sure they would do their job of protecting your feet from the rain. But they were ugly.

Great for walking in rainy weather. I work outside so they are comfortable enough to wear all day and keep my feet dry! Plus they are stylish..

Fabulous Rain Boot

I am a true size 10. I would suggest you purchase your normal size unless you like wearing too small shoes. I tried the size 9 and my toe was at the tip of the shoe.

Great Quality- Size Down

This boot has a substantial sole with a good bit of cushion. High quality rubber makes this a great choice for rainy days! My suggestion is to size down, as the boot runs large. I sized half a size up and wish that I had not.
