This is my first hydro flask and I really like it so far! The bottle itself is great, holds lots of water, and keeps ice cold for such a long time. I drink about 2 of these a day, sometimes more if it’s hot. I like the flip straw lid but feel like it could be better. Sometimes when you open it, it flings a bunch of water out so I just cup my hand over it when I open it. The flip straw will lock in when closed but doesn’t lock when fully opened, therefore if you aren’t pulling back on the mouth piece as you’re drinking it and it goes forward a bit, you get a lot of air. So I’ve just been holding the mouth piece all the way back as I’m drinking and it’s been fine. I’m also not used to such a small handle on such a large/heavy-when-full bottle so I switched it out for a paracord handle. I also purchased the flex strap tool to help switch out the handles and it helped a LOT. Overall I really like this bottle, although the flip straw took some getting used to. It looks nice and I love the surf color, especially with the matching lid! It keeps ice/water cold for a day or more and even though it’s big it’s still easy to hold/drink from even with small hands.
