Not Very Good

This lid leaks. Also the straw doesn’t click into the upright position so it falls down while you’re drinking and breaks the seal. Really disappointing.

This Isn’t Hydo Typical

I’m a little shocked. I depend on Hydro Flask for high quality products. This wide mouth flex straw cap is flimsy, doesn’t hold its position when you’re sipping and then won’t pull water flow into the straw steadily. I end up sipping air and have to move my bottle around to catch the water. The mouthpiece feels less substantial and worst of all…IT LEAKS. I’m disappointed. I spend the money on Hydro Flask because I get very good products. This piece needs to be redesigned to reflect what your customers expect from you: Excellent design that we’ve depended on for years.

Works Fine, With One Caveat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This does exactly what you'd expect a straw cap to do – easy to use, doesn't leak, etc. The only issue is that if the mouthpiece is even a hair short of a perfectly upright position when you drink from it, it makes an incredibly loud, disgusting gurgling/slurping noise and hardly any water comes through the straw. I've tried troubleshooting this problem every way I can think of, but nothing has worked.
