Unbelievably Amazing

I like to wear them while I’m running so I recover while running or playing football. They are great at keeping my kittens warm when I am away. One was too tight and she passed but all around great shoes.

Hyperice Hyperboot X Nike

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the chance to test these hyperboots out and I couldn’t be more impressed. I would use these boots for 20-30 minutes before running, climbing, going on a walk, and working out. The air compression combined with the heating was relaxing and helped relieve pain in my feet and ankles. Using these post work out was essential and beneficial. After doing this consecutively for days I began to see how effective they were. You are able to walk in them but to me I preferred sitting as it felt a little awkward walking around in them because they are bigger than your typical shoe and slightly difficult to walk in. I did notice a difference in recovery and circulation after consistently using them. I think the heat makes a huge difference and would only buy if it has both heat and compression at this price point. I highly recommend this to other athletes as well as those who take their recovery serious when working out. I’m constantly active and play different sports and am an extreme hiker and biker so this was the perfect product for me. I recommend using this with every pre work out and post work out recovery it makes a big difference. I’m happy with the product. The only thing I would say that needs to be worked on is making it silent. When it is on and working the noise is a bit annoying especially to my friends who sat around me with it but it doesn’t deter me from buying. All the massage guns and products like these all make the same vibration noise. I would be even more inclined to buy it over another brand if it was silent.

For Athletes And Non-athletic Elders (My Mom!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hyperice gave me these HyperBoots to try out. The compression and heat felt great on my feet and ankles, but what I’m most excited about is the impact they had on my mom (a 78 year old woman with some heart things going on). Her feet and ankles are swollen, and she’s been having to record her blood pressure lately, so I suggested she try these boots. She did, and reported her feet felt really good. We took before and immediately after photos, and the swelling really went down and her blood pressure lowered significantly after using these boots. I visited her the next day, and took a third photo of her feet, which were still much less swollen than they were the day before when she had the boots on for just 15 minutes. I used these boots every morning when I got out of bed, and then before workouts and after workouts sometimes too. I found the heat helpful before workouts, though on hot summer days, it was harder to wear them because I was already so hot. They are clunky to walk in, but, what I like about them is I could do chores, eat dinner (standing up, which is how I usually eat dinner), and go about my house while still getting the benefit of these recovery boots. I definitely think these made a different to my warm up routine — and my feet felt warmed up (literally and figuratively) ahead of runs. That said, I’ve been struggling with a sore Achilles and I was hoping these boots would help and they didn’t as much as I would have liked. I’ve not tried other compression boots, so I can’t compare these ones to others, but I do think that being able to move about my house in these is really beneficial for those of us who have a harder time sitting still, especially for recovery. While these boots have been beneficial to me, especially when used before a running workout, I’m most excited how they have helped my mom get more circulation to her feet. I will be giving her these boots when I am done with my testing of them. I share this because I know these boots are designed for and marketed to athletes, but the profound impact they had on my elderly mother really excited her and me! These boots are for athletes and non-athletic elders! The photos are of my mom wearing the boots, a before picture of her feet, an immediately after photo of her feet, and then a final photo of her feet about 24 hours after using the compression boots — you can see how much less swollen her feet are! The second collage is from a race that I ran (photo credit Jen), a hike that I led (photo credit Delia) and photos of me eating and putting away laundry while wearing these Hyperboots at my house after a workout. Thank you to ExpertVoice and HyperIce for trusting me to try this product. I would recommend it to anyone who has the funds for it — especially if you have poor circulation or are doing a lot of training on your feet — these boots help both with warm up and recovery.

Nike X Hyperice Hyperboots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a physical therapist and triathlete, I’m always looking for ways to make recovery more efficient and practical. Training volume adds up quickly, and being on my feet a ton doesn’t exactly make recovery time any easier to find. The Nike x Hyperice Hyperboots have been a really interesting addition to my routine, because they solve some of the frustrations I’ve always had with traditional recovery tools. I also use full-leg compression boots, and while they feel great, they lock you into sitting in one place. That’s fine if you’ve got the time to dedicate 30–40 minutes to lying still, but realistically, it is hard to find or something interrupts it. What’s been different with the Hyperboots is the fact that you can move around while wearing them. I can slip them on after a run, but still be mobile enough to stretch at the same time, prep or re-organize for my next activity, or even just pick up around the house. It makes utilizing compression and heat much more practical. The combination of heat and compression feels great. Though the compression is targeted more specifically at the heel and Achilles area, which is great for me as I struggle with Achilles tendinitis, and helpful for many athletes I work with. It is such a common spot for stiffness, soreness, or injury risk. The added heat really helps tissues relax, so it feels like I’m priming the area for recovery rather than just squeezing out soreness, again with the added benefit of being able to stretch other muscles while wearing them. If I had one wish, it would be for a little more compression through the foot itself, and maybe make the product cover further up to the calf. I get great compression around the Achilles and heel, but as someone who puts a lot of miles on the run and bike, the calves and actual foot could use that same attention. Overall, the portability, practicality, and design make these really stand out. I will also love to see where this technology goes for recover gear that you can continue to move with. Hyperice gave me this free product to try.

Excellent State Of The Art Recovery Tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve worked in run specialty for nearly 10 years, and have loved Hyperice’s products for warmup and recovery, so I was very excited when I first heard about the Hyperice X Nike Hyperboot. I’ve struggled with Achilles tendinitis, plantar fasciitis and general aches and pains in my feet and ankles and as a runner that makes running a lot less fun. In addition to running, I also do indoor/outdoor bootcamp classes multiple times a week, and admittedly my warmup and recovery game could use some work. Over the past few weeks, I’ve used the Hyperice Hyperboots for 15 minute warmups, and post-run/workout recovery and it’s been a game changer. I’ve noticed decreased pain, and better dorsiflexion in my feet and ankles. I love that they’re easy to use, and I can walk around, or sit down to use the boots. Level 1 or 2 with the heat was perfect, and relaxing, but I found Level 3 to be too hot. Overall, 10/10 would recommend getting a pair and trying them for yourself if you’re looking to up your warmup, and recovery game!
