Very lightweight but warm and comfy material. Love the java color too - unusual in men’s clothing. Fit is slimmer than I’m used to - I’m 6’ and 160 lbs and medium almost always works for me. This medium feels like it was designed to be slim fit for thin guys like me. Kinda wish it were a little more relaxed fit but maybe that’s not the point with a base layer like this. Also the material is *not* cat hair resistant - cat owners beware!

Lightweight, Comfortable, But...
Overall this is a nice hoodie. It is very thin, def. breathable and helps control temps in high output activities. My experience is that this material rips very easily and the sizing funs very small. I have worn Icebreakers items for over 10 years and know my sizing. I orders size large and it fits like a tight medium. I have ordered large in all different pieces and this is way off. It's very short so barely comes over my belt line and it pretty snug around my chest. I am 5'9, 180 lbs, 41" chest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blend of fabrics for shorts is amazing, it's difficult to find a good pair of merino wool shorts that exist, let alone a pair that actually looks like a pair of functional shorts rather than pajamas. I have quite large legs so I needed to size up 2, so I would recommend ordering a few sizes and trying them, most are fine with 1 size up, the waist did up for me fine, but my legs didn't fit as the fit is quite tight. The shorts are very good quality and feel very premium, not only that the fabric they are made of the merino wool mix is fantastic, it means they don't pick up odors, they dry super fast, and they look like a really nice pair of shorts. They are great for hiking in all conditions, whether it is dry or wet, and they look like casual clothes instead of performance hiking clothing which they are. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for something stylish to wear on their hikes
