I was searching for a shoe with better arch support than the Nike Luna’s I was wearing for indoor in artificial grass. I decided to give a women’s shoe a go. After a three-game weekend, the hip pain I normally dealt with in the Nikes was significantly reduced, and my ankle arthritis pain was less, as well. The only unfortunate part was that I got gnarly blisters on the back of both feet, even after adjusting my sizing based on product recommendations. I think this is due to the narrow heel — one of the women’s fit features.
