Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hold water but that’s about it! Purchased for my daughter to use for cheerleading practice. I got it because it was cheap ($7?) and didn’t want to spend $20++ on the other jugs. The size is great. It doesn’t keep water cold at all though. After 1.5 hours at practice the water is warm. The spout has to be pushed back in regularly because it just snaps off. It leaks a little bit. Also don’t keep water in it for too long. Left spring water in it overnight in the fridge and the next day it smelled and tasted gross! If you are looking for something cheap just to hold water then this will work. Otherwise I recommend spending more $ on something better quality!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible jug This jug does not have a locking spout. So if it tips over on its side, your drink will spill everywhere. The size and colors are great, the handle is flimsy as well. I bought this for my 13 year old who plays 8th grade football and needs to hydrate during his two hour practices.......it was worthless because everytime it falls on its side, (84 team members tossing their water jugs on the ground, one is bound to get knocked over), the water/gatoraid woudl spill out....... and so this one is my garage awaiting the next yard sale.....I had to go to another store and buy another one that had a locking spout/cap on top.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Igloo, made in USA, what's not to like? We need a large (64 ounce) insulated water jug for sports practices and games. Looked at several brands, read reviews, decided a pour spout was important, reasonable amount of insulation important, and a fence hook not really necessary. The spout is good when wearing helmets / face masks, and is a sturdy design to not break easily. If you wanted a fence hook, the Igloo has holes in the handle that would accept a carabiner. If you want cold, the wide mouth will accept lots of ice. And this Igloo was made in the USA, always a good thing. There are jugs costing three times as much with better insulation, but we needed it for sports, not camping.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from got a lenmon Purchased this item for my daughter to use during camp. Was informed on day 1 that there was a leak from the lid. Upon inspection I found the o-ring between the spout and the lid was being moved out of place when the spout was rotated open. I removed the spout numerous times to fix the placement of the o-ring, which would fix the leak. However after 3-4 times opening the spout, the o-ring would resort back to moving out of place. Purchase a second one in hopes that the first was a lemon. I will update the review in a few days to let you know. All the other girls whom purchased the same jug have not had the issues we have with the o-ring.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Leaks When Not Upright I bought two of these containers and no matter how carefully or firm the lid is tightened they both leak when on their side. I found a big mess in the back of SUV the first time we used it. Now I make sure that it stays upright during the ride.In terms of keeping liquids cold, it does get the job done. The flip out spout is a nice feature.Overall this is a low quality product. Had I to do it all over again I'd find something that has a better fit and finish. After all, there's no point of going through the trouble of preparing and carrying your drink around if only a fraction of it remains when you really need it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Double charged I needed to find a couple extra items to qualify for a coupon, so I found a couple more things. I should have checked the receipt because I was charged for two of these coolers. How does one take back one and say, "I was double charged for this?" It would be like "Yeah, right, sure you were." So, the cooler I bought that I really didn't need in the first place, cost twice as much as it should have. Some coupon, no?It works. The side on one we had before came unglued or broke awayl, but that was probably due to rough treatment of my soccer playing son. So far, no leaks, and it keeps ice water relatively cool. You get what you pay for (even if you do sometimes pay for it twice).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Convenient and Cute I bought this water bottle because I'm pregnant and never drank enough water before I became pregnant. I decided to fill this every morning to ensure that I am getting my 64 ounces a day that I'm supposed to get. Dick's is the only place that carried it in fun colors. It keeps my water very cold during my entire 9 hour work day (I'll only drink water if it's super cold!) and the spout is nice to drink from. My only complaint is that it leaks from the top if you don't screw it on JUST right, which seems to be pretty finicky. It doesn't leak if you get it right, though. Otherwise, a great purchase for a great price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from difficult for women and children I bought 3 of these for my kids. Labels left nasty residue that even acetone had a hard time removing. Grass and dirt stuck to them everywhere. It takes major strength to tighten the lid enough to seal. Handle attach points look very weak. I have one of these that is of the same brand that is 25 years old and it is easier to use and not as bulky. The only advantage of this new one is the shape of the lid makes it easier to grip when putting on or taking off, but believe me, you need it just to get the thing to seal and then have any chance of taking it back off. There has got to be a better alternative out there.
