    Good Value For Disc Driver

    NIce disk for the money. Dick's did not over charge for this long range driver at about $12.99 I felt is was a fair price for this disc in that there was not another less expensive driver. I'm learning the game and I did not want to spend more than that. Nothing special about this disc it's a lower grade rubber plastic so it already has some nicks on it so dont use it around trees or rocks. The Valkyrie’s high speed turn and flight characteristics make it great choice for long range turnover shots and rollers.

    Flies Far And Straight !

    I'm a beginner to intermediate left hander and this is my favorite disc. It flies far with little effort especially downhill.

    Longest Backhand Driver For Intermediate Player

    I've read that "understable" discs (like this one because it has some high-speed turn) are best for beginners to get max distance. I don't see why the same wouldn't be true for expert players (I'm not there yet, so I don't know). For max distance, I throw it flat, it turns one way, straightens out, then fades the other way. That way it has two phases of its flight where it's flat and has maximum lift.If you throw it like mentioned above (in no wind) and it doesn't turn (no S-shaped profile), you probably need a disc with a lower speed rating. If it turns too much (no wind), you probably need a higher speed disc. A similar but higher-speed disc that I recommend is the Tern. It's my preferred disc for max-distance forehand shots.
