Great Value

Bought this to have a second around. Have had same item for 4 years. Used for camping trips. Has been reliable. Have inflated and deflated a dozen times. Very quick setup and take down. Less bulky than a sleeping bag.

Drain Plug Will Not Stay In

I bought this as a replacement for another of the same brand that finally failed after over 10 years. Naturally, I had high expectations based on my previous experience. I've used it for overnight camping three times now (not on consecutive nights). The first two nights were great. There was the expected stretching that happens with new air beds, but overall it worked very well. Then came the third night. Disastrous. It inflated fine, bit the drain plug Would. NOT. Stay. In. It popped out the first time as I was disconnecting the air pump. Through the night, it came out spontaneously, with nothing touching it, several times - enough to completely drain the battery in the air pump. By 5:30 AM, I was effectively sleeping right on the metal truck bed. The old models had a screw on cap. Why the change??
