Sad And Lied To

I purchased a set of Irish Setter Ashby boots about 10 months ago the stitching is already worn out and boots are coming apart. It’s very sad. They failed to live up to any standards of quality. the Red Wings store when I purchase them also missed quoted the warranty. I feel cheated didn’t lie to and the boots did not live up to the name at all very sad.

Maybe I Got Unlucky

I've been buying these style boots for almost 15 years now; my first pair I didn't use them for work right away because I had another pair of work boots. My first pair of boots last me like two years but only for casual use, then i bought another pair and started using my first irish setter for work and oh man, they felt great even though they were 2 years old, so I started doing the same, have two pairs of irish setters one for work and one for casual use. I didn't have any problem until 6 months ago that I bought a new pair for casual use... worst new pair I bought, is only been 6 monts and the insole is totally destroyed; I know this model is not waterproof, but my other pair of boots didn't get soaking wet (only water filtration where on the tongue of the boot), this new pair are like sponges, I can even step on a tiny puddle of water because they get all soaked inside, is like water even goes inside by the stitching on the boot sole... and this are not my work boots, I cant imagine using them for work, I dont know if I bought a bad batch, but this were my worst pair of ashby boots... and yeah I bought them at the store, so I know they are "genuine" irish setter boots

Not So Great Stitching

I bought these about a year ago and I noticed my second to the big toes started to hurt me Im not sure If I needed a bigger size but yeah my toes are all messed-up now it kinda feels broken but not quiet.. so the front end stitching started to fold over after used and my insoles started to hurt not even a year into used. I ended up paying a shoe store to sow the front where the stitching came apart also.tje shoes lases ended up ripping.

Ankle Soreness

I purchased these boots and wore them for about a month hoping they would break-in, but they never seemed to get better. The cushion inside the boot is great, but the sole is very stiff and the top of the boot rubs my ankles and creates soreness. Its hard to pinpoint one things that is the issue, it more of the combo with the stiff sole and rubbing ankles.
