Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wish I could wear these all day every day! Ordered a pair as soon as they were available because I had wore out my first generation Rutmasters. They arrived quickly and fit just like the old style only better. Feel great on my feet easy on and off and zero break-in period. I've wore them to do yard work and cut some trees down in a muddy ditch and had great traction and durability in the sticks and thorns. I wore them to pour concrete and they didn't pull off in the wet concrete and washed off to like new again. You won't be sorry you bought them!! I wear a size 12 in most boots and shoes and a size 12 in these fit perfect. I wore a size 12 in the previous version of this boot as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Here's more info on those Boots I understand the concerns with the reviews on the Rutmaster 2.0. The is an issue that has been addressed in current production and the boots have been reinforced on the heel. There are a couple ways to tell whether you are seeing the new model or the previous. The biggest difference can be found on the heel. The new model will not have "IRISH SETTER" across the heel, where the previous version did. The second difference is the logo on the side. The old logo was in a circle shape, whereas the new logo is in a shield shape. With any other questions, please contact Customer Service at 888-738-8370 thats what I did and have the new model and it is a big difference

Rated 2 out of 5 by from shocked at poor durability I bought these before last years archery season. (2017) I loved them. Warm, dry, and comfortable. I wore them again this year and was still in love UNTIL the last day. Out of the blue they split just above the reinforcement for the heel. Not a minor split, but a 4-5" horizontal gash. I came here to look at the options to find replacements. After reading the reviews I changed my mind and also decided to share my experience. I am bummed. I liked these a lot when they worked. now the search starts over again. I have friends that say buy cheap boots every three years and save money. They may be on to something.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Seems to be a common problem Bought a pair 2 months ago. Wore them outside a few times, to the range, goose hunting, and around the homestead. Just got back from setting trail cameras. Went to wash the mud of and got my ankle wet. Both boots have splits above the heel. I can buy Walmart boots that last longer than 2 months. I bought expensive name brand for comfort and to last. These are probably the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. It doesn't do my much good if they break this soon. So now I'm here 2 days before archery season and they need to send me new boots. I'm not happy and I guess we'll see how long the next pair lasts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these boots! I purchased these boots at the start of the 2017 Minnesota deer season. I love them. First day out of the box I put 3 miles on them and not one rub, blister, or pain anywhere. They have been that way since. Great ankle support. They fit like a glove. yes, the are snug at the ankle, but that's what makes them so warm at the toe. I typically wear an 11.5 to 12. The ones i have are 12s and they are perfect. These boots have saved me more than once after falling through some mid-shin deep ice. Not sure what everybody has sizing issues with. Do not get anything like up 2 sizes up. That is ridiculous. Get your true size on the upside. (if you wear an 11.5 like me, get a 12.)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wonderful...until they rip These boots were a big game changer for me. Kept my feet dry and warm, and surprisingly conmfortable hiking in to spots in the mountains of western Maryland. But there’s always a catch it seems...After maybe 8-10 total hunts in these boots, I discovered while trying to cross a small stream that these boots tear at the heel! Needless to say I was angry with cold/wet feet. I can’t belive this happened for the price I paid. I understand wear and tear over time, but they didn’t even last a whole hunting season. Might as well throw 180 dollars in the trash. While they are amazing boots when they’re fully intact, they’re now useless with holes in the heel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect (((Irish setter: You can correct my spelling . I speak french.))) I bought the first version of these boots there are 3 ½ years. They are still as new. I use them every weeks in winter to pass my snowblower and for winter sports. During the summer I use it to go fishing . They still always 100% waterproof . They are warm in winter and cool in summer. This is the only boots that I found on the market that my heel don't lift when I walk . Also, dirt does not stick to these boots. They are always clean

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Boot Ever Owned! This is the first boot I've owned that I have zero complaints with. Bought them and went on a 5 mile mountain hike the next day. Zero issues, like walking on air. Crossed foot deep streams, climbed over boulders and up rocky trails. Just didn't even think about my feet at all which is the best recommendation I can give!
