Never hit a “chunk” or “blade” again when you train with the FlatBall® Training Aid. This ¼-inch high disk is designed to help you hit a ball properly. A regular ball is 1 5/8” in diameter, giving you room for error. Since the FlatBall® is so thin, you can only hit it properly or else you will miss it entirely. When you hit it directly, it will travel a short distance, letting you know the FlatBall® has corrected your striking errors.

Our larger Christmas present for a grandson was a Dick’s gift card. That’s always well received. However the flat ball was the most fun. Golf gifts in a snowy winter are always wanted, but tend to fill a golfer’s heart with longing. Several of the golfers in our group disappeared right after the gifts were opened. They took off for the basement to experiment with the new toy. It’s too soon to tell if flat balls can improve your game, but the entertainment value was great. Glad we made the purchase!

Bought this to try and fix my golf swing. Have been working on it.

Really helpful if you constantly thin or fat your irons. Word of advice don’t try to use in real grass like some reviews tried before. For use on mat/ artificial turf.

These are such a handy training tool. I can use them in the yard or against the cement wall in my basement. They really help you visualize where your club head needs to contact the ball.

I think it is a good training tool to strike the ball

I recently picked up the Izzo Flatball 6-pack, and I’m very happy with the purchase. These little training discs are incredibly simple, but they do exactly what they promise—help sharpen contact and consistency. Because they’re so thin, they instantly show whether you’re making solid swings or hitting too high or low. When I strike them clean, it feels great; when I don’t, the feedback is obvious. They’re lightweight, portable, and perfect for quick practice sessions in the yard, on a mat, or even indoors without worrying about damage. I like that they’re soft, so there’s no risk to clubs, and they hold up well through repeated use. They won’t fix every swing flaw, but they make me more aware of my swing path and low point, which already makes a difference on the course. For the price, they’re a great addition to my practice routine, and I’m glad to have them in my bag.

Great. Tool to stop you from topping the ball.Making sure that the club head is fully hitting the ball. You will think you can not hit it correctly, but you will. Very simple instructions easy to practice with limited flight.I've used it in the house and nothing got broke.

Immediately saw a difference in my contract and it transferred to the course!

I use these in my apartment when I have a few minutes to kill. They give me confidence in my ball striking out on the course

The flat ball is helpful if you are working on cleaner hits off the grass. You need a large to use this product. If you catch the side of it launches like a frisbee for 60-100 yards

Firstly, you can hit these flat ball with your irons in the backyard, somewhat like a practice “whiffle” ball. But, they help train iron shots to strike low. I also love them for practicing my driver swing in my yard. I do not actually hit the flat ball with my driver, but I use it as a perfect visual aid to practice my shot alignment and aim, and then I swing over it, since a real ball would be teed up.
