Rated 1 out of 5 by AidanS from Don’t waste your time on the water... I bought two of these bluegill baits and I immediately regretted it. I went to my local bass spot and cast into a few beds that I had caught fish at before, with no bites. The action is poor from the tail, and the next day, the one bite I had on this lure came out of the mouth, since the treble hook is so far forward, and there is no top-hook. I am a young fisherman and do not have a lot of money to pour into the sport, but I would rather have paid the extra few bucks for a better swimbait. Do not waste time with this bait.

Bait does not run true, not the end of the world Doesn't respond well to different retrieval speeds, tends to run high and sidways on a fast retrieve. All that being said it catches fish. My best results were running it over weed beds. Lost the first one and will get another.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Tator Salad from Not for weedy water I fish from the shore mostly. This lure works at about 5 or 6 feet’s and “catches” a lot of grass when I use it. I would suggest it be used in deeper open water. I have more success with worms. May do better with a hook set in the tail as well.
