Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every Penny! Look, let's be real here. It's a 15$ rod and it's 2 pieces. I snagged 4 of these bad boys on sale for 10$ a pop. I wish I would have picked up more. I went with the 7ft rods for chasing stripped bass here in Maryland. They've held up well to Saltwater and I've managed to pulled in bunches of 30"+ Fish. It's not the most sensitive, but hey for what I need them for, not an issue at all. If these were available in 1 piece rods, they would be perfect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save your Money I know the $15.00 price tag is enticing, believe me. After 5 years my Shakespeare Microcast ultralight combo rod finally broke and I wanted to just replace the rod and keep the reel so I bought this. This rod broke before I ever got to use it, light pressure on the end bending it downwards and it snapped like a brittle twig and that was just to get it out of the trunk. It is cheap brittle and I promise you not worth the $15.00.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shockingly solid I purchased this rod online just to throw a cheap reel I picked up from Amazon on. It was only $14.99 and I didn’t expect much. To my surprise it’s a solid rod. It’s sturdy, good action, and has held up as good as any of my more expensive rods. I plan on buying the casting version of it for a spare baitcaster. For $15, you can’t go wrong.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good for the price So far, so good. Particularly for the crazy low price. I use it only for large mouth bass and it's brought in a few 20+ " bass weighing 3/4 pounds with no issues. If this continues this rod is an exceptional bargain. You can't go wrong for the money

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Another great rod for the price I bought this 6'6" rod for $2.14 after using my $10 rewards. The only issue I have is that I also have a 7' medium-heavy Jawbone and I can't tell the difference. Compared it to my 8' Shimano med-heavy. Still a great rod for the price

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Jawbone rod I bought a Jawbone 6.5 ft. Medium action spinning rod at Dicks a few weeks ago. I was pleasantly surprised at the overall quality for such a cheap price!! I would recommend this product to anyone!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bang for your Buck Can't beat a fully functioning rod for $14.99. This rod stood up to the pressure of me snapping 20 lb mono off the bottom. It is also well made and thoughtfully designed given its budget.
