Great Paddle: How Long Does It Last?

I have this paddle for 10 months now - Scorpeus 14 mm suits my game best thaan any other paddle. During those 10 months I played with other excellent paddles, but I kept drifting back to Scorpeus. I keep this paddle very carefully - externally it appears in a great shape. How long should this paddle last? when the ball hits the lower third of the paddle face, the paddle vibrates transmitting the vibration to the handle - odd thing i noticed for the last month. I prefer this paddle to other ones, but should i be concerned about overuse injury to my forearm/elbow because of transmitted unbuffered vibration?
