Until this purchase, I used just whatever paddle I could rent or an extra someone had. But I started playing enough that I wanted to invest in one. This one is good. Not my favorite, but also half the price of the one I really wanted. I was looking for more control than power; however, this one advertised good ratings in both. I have never hit with a paddle that required so much effort. Luckily, power wasn’t my struggle point, I just didn’t appreciate the inaccurate rating. So heads up if you are looking for power, I don’t think this one would be a good investment
