Ink Security Tag Ruined Gloves

Clerk put a hole in the gloves when removing the ink security tag and ink was all over the wrist part of the gloves and she put them in my bag like that. I called customer service to see if I could ship them back instead of driving 45 minutes to the store and was told I had to return them to the store.
