Good But Far From Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was designed in conventional Nike fashion which was enough for standard performance but not an item that excels. 3/4 length tights have a nice concept yet as an item underperforms in several key areas. First the fit- as a standard item this is just that and at time feels generic where technical aspects could be improved such as most importantly the knee area. Often times during training I find myself constantly readjusting the length which makes the item diminish in value and a redesign with a specific focus on fitting the form of the knee is greatly needed. Like many of the elite socks a more specialized fit is needed in the taper of knee area. Next, would of course be the lining of the tights. Possibly because of fluctuating weights the waist line always seems to be looser than desired where the thin band is just not dense enough so it does not place well and fixing this with a string would be a fatal miscalculation. The waistband not only needs to be denser in width but also a cm or 2 in length would really add to the utility of the item. The Matthew M Williams collection would be an excellent reference where the inner combined compression shorts serve as not only the perfect density for undergarments but the unique waist lining adds the perfect stability to the item whereas as-is the existing waistband feels more like a low rise positioning rather than the ideal area of under the navel. I would also consider trying making the bottom 1/2 centimeter where the seam is Velcro on the outside where looser shorts or regular shorts/pants may be attached acting as an ergonomic belt. The body of the tights was also needing a bit more where the sheer material feels as if the versatility of the garment is diminished. That being said, I would recommend not eliminating the sheerness of the entire garment but more so increasing the density near the bathing suits area (groin/ upper thigh) and making a gradient of density which I’m sure as Nike you all have extensive research on compression that assists recovery but also that assist performance where sheer areas should really only be in areas of intense heat like the mid to lower thighs and behind the knees. As for the pocket, excellent addition and the depth of the pocket was great enough to conceal items throughout a workout. Material for the garment was fair to good but may I suggest possibly testing the garment in merino wool which I have good insight that at near to same width this would improve the versatility of seasonal wear for athletes such as myself who train outdoors. If the same material is kept, this item, with increased density may perform similarly to swim jammers which I would also enjoy using this product as for tepid to cool water. Finally, I will say overall the item is a generic middle tier item that if I were personally shopping for would pass upon under most circumstances even with a considerable price reduction. As a final remark I will say that this garment would be a letter grade C and that Jordan products should be treated as a specialized extension of pro level products and innovation wise athlete inspired gear for basketball has been severely lacking behind tennis and it is beyond time to add a special touch of magic to these products not only in functionality but also in color contrast which I believe the new designer transfer from ARC’TERYX will greatly increase garment dye, color contrast and palette which has also been needing a push into maturity. Recent releases have also been too playful and too childlike and greater color theory is NEEDED. (P.s. when you do I believe the perfect color to revamp the saturation is that brilliant Oregon green with a Scandinavian yellow with a hint of pacific indigo and iconic Nike orange)

Good Fit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dri-FIT fabric does an excellent job wicking away sweat, keeping me cool and dry. The 3/4 length is perfect—it provides good coverage without being too long or restrictive. The fit is snug but comfortable, giving great support without feeling too tight or compressing too much. I also like the sleek, athletic look; it’s versatile enough to wear on its own or under shorts. If you’re looking for a well-designed pair of tights for training or just staying active, I’d highly recommend these!

Logo Falls Off

The only problem I had with this is that the Jordan logo fell off smh. Would've been better if they stitched it

Fantastic Base Layer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tights actually arrived on the first day our mail resumed after Hurricane Milton tore up our coastal Florida community and, though small, brightened my day in a way that made a difference. We got a cold front after the hurricane and a return to normalcy and routine includes morning running for me. Fit is much more accommodating for thicker thighs (aka people who don’t skip leg day), than some running tights. Length is perfect and won’t stack even on shorties. My issue with other tech fabrics is a lack of breathability; these Jordan tights, however, had EXCELLENT heat exchange as well as being quick to dry. Perhaps in colors other than white, these could be worn without another layer on top, but when wet with sweat or rain, these are very transparent. The logo is actually in a place right above the knee that makes sense considering this is a base layer. I wish Jordan Brand would put some major effort into a running/training specific sub-brand and mash lifestyle with performance in a way that legacy running brands tend to be lacking. I can think of an amazing American gold medalist who runs for another brand, but could easily represent this segment if signed to Jordan Brand!
