Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great shoe, no durability Let me start by saying that I can tell this is an amazing shoe just off of one use. That being said, one shoe is literally ripping at the forefoot after one use. Also, the plastic is coming off on both toe-boxes. I understand they used a plastic material to keep the price cheaper, but I would gladly pay more for better materials if it means the shoe will last. I bought two pairs because I could not decide a color, unfortunately, I will probably be returning both of the shoes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Velcro... I bought one pair and the velcro strap on the right shoe stopped working and if I ran it would become undone. I returned them and got a new pair and the exact same thing happened.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from HARD TO PUT ON, NO STRETCH Purchased online, tried to put on with new jeans, NO GO. Could barely get my foot in sneaker. NO stretch or give at all. Partner with very narrow feet could not get their feet in either. Too tight of a fit. Sorry I have to return the beautiful shoe. Very nice but too tight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome shoe As an aging player and having not played in a long time, I wanted something comfortable, durable, and most importantly; ankle support. After watching many video reviews all kinds of shoes, I chose the "why not?". I really didn't want to spend this much money on a shoe I was only going to wear on the court but I am glad I did. Actually, I am thinking of getting a 2nd pair in different color. Ankle support is the best I have ever had in a shoe and they feel rock solid. Your foot really feels locked into the shoe and they are very stable. They did need a little break in time but in my experience, that is usually a sign of a good shoe. The foot opening is a little tight at first but it is getting better. I have only played indoors and traction is great; I wipe them very little. The other guys are always wiping, slipping, wiping some more but not me. I have only had them a little over a month, so I cant really comment on durable but so far they have held up well. If I had any real complaints it would be the foot opening being tight and the velcro strap on the laces. It seems to get in the way when trying to tie the shoes but it's really not a big deal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from My first issue with Jordan's The first day the shoe was fine hard to get on but fine but day two the cushion on the ankle support started to cut into my ankles an felt like something was stabbing me sent them back to the company but they found nothing wrong I don't know what kind of defect it is in the cushion but it's not good very disappointed in this shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST performance BASKETBALL SHOE on the market today! WHY NOT play in the best performing basketball shoe on the market today? After winning his first MVP, averaging a triple double, and breaking the big O's single season record for triple doubles Russ was ready for his first signature shoe and it did NOT disappoint. For those who have followed Russ' on court sneaker history you know that he's played in the Jordan flagship models through the years. From the XX8, XX9, XXX, and XXX.5 Russ has carried the flagship line for years prior to the "Why Not 0.1". I bring this up because Russ does NOT compromise when it comes to performance so you know that Jordan Brand was going to prioritize the performance elements of Russ's first sig. When it comes to basketball shoes, the GOLD standard for cushioning is FULL LENGTH ZOOM. Not zoom in the heel or zoom in the forefoot, like we see in the Kyrie's or PG's, we're talking about FULL LENGTH ZOOM! The cushioning is A1! The other BEST feature of the shoe is the GLOVE-like lockdown you get. Don't listen to anyone who says that these are "hard to get on". Even if you need to use your fingers or a shoe horn to get these one, that 1 second is more than worth it considering how effective the lock down is on these. Your foot doesn't slide around one bit in these. Also, the pronounced outrigger allows you to make really aggressive cuts and allows you to stay balanced when slicing into the paint. Next, the foam heel counter, that looks inspired by the Jordan XV provides fantastic impact protection. The traction has nice grip and is a significant upgrade to the Jordan XXXi. As someone who has played competitive basketball in hundreds of sneakers throughout the years, these are immediately one of my all time favorites. I'd put them up there with the Kobe IX, Jordan XX9, Huarache 2k4/5, Kobe IV, Kobe V, Kobe VI, 2016 hyperdunk low. Great job Jordan BRAND! I've already bought the breds and the all-star's and highly recommend these shoes! Can't wait to see what you have in store for the Why Not 0.2!
