The Jugs® Lite-Flite® Pitching Machine is a powerful training tool for players of all ages and skill levels. The M6000 pitching machine simulates both left and right-handed curveballs, sliders and fastballs for excellent defensive drills and versatile practice sessions. The Lite-Flite® pitches Jugs® Lite-Flite® softballs and baseballs for a fear-free practice with a lighter ball. Because the Lite-Flite® throws Jugs® Lite-Flite® softballs and baseballs—Hitters learn to hit the sharp-breaking pitch without fear of being hit by the ball.

I just got this setup and couldn't be happier with it. Very consistent with the Jugs brand lite flight balls, not so much with the less expensive brands. I was paying $50 for 30 minutes so this will be paid off with 11 sessions.

Not Quite As Advertised

Was looking for an entry level pitching machine. Surfing Dick's website, I found this machine paired with what appeared be recommended dimple balls. Only one problem - you can't use dimple balls with this machine, you have to use wiffle balls or an equally lite polyurethane ball. Neither of which are conducive for little league hitters. Shame on me for just reading reviews and not going on to Jugs website and asking some questions. Seems like a cool machine but the pairings per Dick's recommendations don't meet Jugs specifications - I called them to verify, this pairing will ruin the machine and void the warranty.

Awesome Machine So Much Fun

Everything about this machine is 5 star. So good for teaching kids to hit live pitching. So much fun for backyard baseball. I am not sure who loves it more, the dad's or the kids. Also, jugs is such a top notch company. All of their products are over built in terms of quality. Their spare parts are cheap and easy to find when something breaks. I absolutely wouldn't but a machine from another brand. My one piece of advice is that the Jugs brand balls wear out quickly, are very expensive, and soak up water. We use Athletic brand foam balls and they work perfectly without the problems.
