Best $100 reel on the market. Definitely worth the money

Horrible Shipping

I purchased this reel from another vendor and love it. I had a $10 coupon so I purchased one from Dicks. It came in a way to big box with no packing material. The reel was completely out of the KastKing box and rattling around inside of the shipping box. This reel has a distinct click when reeling ( which my other one doesn’t ) . Never again going to purchase anything from Dicks .

Smooth And Solid, Great Value

I own several KastKing spinning reels and other accessories but hadn't tried one of their casting reels. Most of my casting reels are medium speed and I wanted to try this one at 7.2:1 to see if it would make it easier to work things like jerkbaits, where I often switch to spinning. The fit and finish of the reel are great... smooth drag, simple controls and good overall performance. The extra speed definitely helps keep slack line under control with jerkbaits and topwaters. Anti-backlash is excellent and I haven't had to fuss with the reel at all so far. Top marks!

Great Baitcasting Reel

Very pleased with this reel. Can't get over how light it is and streamlined. Love the drag, not only the amount of drag, but that it clicks when you turn the drag star. Only baitcaster I own that does that. This reel fits nicely in my left hand (I have a right handed reel). Anxious for a good field test. Holds a lot of mono or braid. Also, it will hand a light (1/4oz) to heavy (1oz) lure. Impressive.

Great Baitcaster Reel

I own two other baitcast reels but bought this because I have purchased other KastKing products (fishing knives,pliers and braid line) and have never been disappointed with their quality or price. Again I was not disappointed with this product, it is light, colorful and very durable. I Bass fish in very dense vegetated lakes in Florida and put 50 lb braid on this reel. It casts well and was easy to set the drag. Best f all, no bird nests. I am very happy with Kastkings products and will continue to buy from them.
