Great All Round Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Approved by 3 active boys. Worn for school and play. Quick and Easy Off and On. Comfortable, neat appearance, good traction and fair price.

Terrible Product Quality- Delamination

KEEN did not stand behind their product quality. Purchased this shoe and worn maybe 5 times before the sole delaminated, and completely separated from the upper part of the shoe. I submitted a quality claim and was denied. Terrible service.

Gorgeous Color

I am an adult who bought these shoes for myself. I’ve always worn a youth size 5 in Keens, so that’s what I purchased. These shoes seemed to run a tiny bit bigger than my other size 5s. They are also extremely wide and roomy. I like my shoes to fit a little more fitted, but I kept them because the color is absolutely beautiful. My only complaint is that I don’t care for the yellow trim color. I think Keen could have chosen something else that would have looked better, but that’s just my own opinion.

Comfy And 5yr Old Approved

My 5 yr old with wide feet loves to wear these to school in the PNW. He says they're grippy on wet surfaces, comfortable, and he can run fast in them at recess.

Disappointed

I purchased Big Kids' Targhee IV Waterproof Hiking Shoe for my son. Unfortunately, we encountered significant issues with these shoes during our recent trip to a national park: 1. Fit: The shoes pinched both of my son's little toes on each foot. 2. Breathability: The shoes caused excessive sweating, requiring us to change his socks multiple times daily. 3. Comfort: When I tried the shoes myself, I found them very uncomfortable and experienced the same sweating issue. These problems are particularly disappointing as both my husband and I own Targhee models (3 and 4 respectively) and have never experienced such issues. The quality and comfort of my son's shoes seem inconsistent with our positive experiences with the Targhee line.
