Huge Design Flaw

Boots are great in theory… but HUGE design flaw. The elastic laces are not adjustable?! And are quite loose for a bungee lace… more for looks than function- they serve no purpose. My 7yo put these boots on and it was like she was walking around with untied boots. The footbed of the boot fit true to size and the ankle strap did hold her heel in place but the rest of the boot was not secure by any means. There is no way she could safely hike in these. She would have been a blistered mess from all the friction from any hike. Maybe flat terrain/ play but these are definitely not for up/downhill terrain. Wanted to love but unfortunately it’s a no.
