Could Be Better

After 2-1/2 years of digging rock, the soles on my Pittsburghs had started falling apart. Understandably with the jagged rock I work on. So my girl replaced them with the Revels for Christmas. Very appreciative, but they are not nearly the boot my Pittsburghs are. The toe of the Rebels started to peel within a week and required shoe goo. The left Revel boot has a some sort of internal hard spot in the sole that bruises the bottom of my foot. I wasn’t sure why my foot hurt and wasn’t going away. So I took a break to my (beat-up sole) Pittsburghs and my toes healed up. I went out on a day trip in the Revels and in one day I’m hobbling on a bruised (3 smallest toes). So they’ll go in the trash after less than 3 months of heavy wear. Revel is a decent boot, but got a bad sole I guess.

Great Fit

Very comfortable right out of the box and great comfort around the angles even for every day wear.

Love These Boots

great fit, wraps my ankle, and easy to tie up with speed lacing. Great arch support. Feels like a well made, comfortable dress shoe but has traction in the snow or on loose dirt and rocks on trails.

Good Winter Boots

I volunteer with a search team and spend a bunch of time in the woods with a lot of off trail hiking in all kinds of weather. These worked well this past winter. Toes were warm. Feet were dry. Good fit with the wide toe box and good traction on all surfaces. They are heavier than my Targee IIs but that is to be expected.

First Time Keen Buyer

I'm always a little leery about buying shoes and boots online because sometimes even in the stores trying to figure out which size fits and feels the best is tough. . I've been looking for boots for a fall trip. My criteria was a hiking boot waterproof big toe box with a little bit of insulation. A friend said he was wearing Keen boots because he needed a wide toe box also. I looked your brand up and read a lot of reviews and the boots I bought checked all the boxes of what I was looking for. . they came very quickly and we still had cold enough weather here in Missouri to give them a test with some of the warmer socks I'll be using this fall I am very happy with them fit is good they're comfortable to walk in. I feel like they don't really even need much break in time but I do plan on walking in them as much as I can before or fall trip.
