Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice; rugged and comfortable. I was very excited to get these boots. I took them home to test out around the house before a trip to Iceland. Unfortunately during that time I found a pair of boots (another brand) that fit better and more importantly, were substantially marked down! I went with the other pair and returned the Keens. I'd still recommend the Keens, though. They were comfortable but a little too wide in the toe box for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best shoes for trekking!! I bought these just few days before going in for my Inca Trial and my god! these are amazing. The traction and the comfort of these shoes is the best!! Had no issues hiking in these for 12 hours ever day for 4 days. Would recommend this to anyone any day! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The comfort though! I purchased these boots almost a month ago, and I gotta say they are amazingly comfortable. Like most footwear, it usually takes time to break them in, well it took less than a week. Very good buy!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too narrow I normally wear 9.5 4E (extra wide) tennis shoes with thin socks. I tried these hiking boots in my local Dick's store, size 10.5 M (normal width) with medium-heavy socks on top of my thin socks, and they felt slightly narrow for my feet. The store does not carry wide sizes so I ordered size 10.5 wide/2E on-line. They arrived a few days ago. When I tried them on the boots felt more narrow than the ones I tried on in the store even without the medium heavy socks. Apparently the width call-out is not consistent. I returned them yesterday.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable w solid construction Bought Keen boots for work last year after reading a review someone said they were the best. I now agree and won’t buy anything else. I worked 7/12’s as a commercial farmer outside in the snow and mud. These are the only boots I’ve ever work that stay comfortable and supportive over months. My last pair made it almost a year before I reused and bought these. Last pair was the Pittsburg Steel Keen boots. These Targhee’s I just bought are just as good but a little less rugged in style. - They run a size small so go up one shoe size when purchasing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great Quality I purchased these shoes to see how they compare to the Morrelle hiking shoes that I purchased in 2005. By the feel of the insoles and the sturdiness of the outer shell, I am petty sure these will compare nicely and last the same..
