Best Boots I Have Ever Owned

I have worn these boots several times a week for over 3 years, putting over a thousand miles on them hiking and working, and the only reason I'm visiting the KEEN site today is to buy new laces for my old boots. It's hard for me to believe anyone could rate these boots anything less than 5 stars, given how well they fit me, how long I have worn them, and how well they have held up.

Sole Delamination

Very disappointing. They did feel great out of the box and were what I was hoping for up until that point and I was excited about them being waterproof and PFAS-free as I do testing for it and didn’t want my clothing to effect the samples. I only get one annual boot allowance per year for work, so I was stuck using my old worn boots as a substitute for the rest of the year.

Very Comfortable

I wore Hokas for years which worked out well. I need more toe room and more stability so I purchased Keens. Very comfortable and durable.

Look Good, Feel Comfortable

These boots look good, feel good. Time will tell if they stand up to vigorous hiking or will the toes separate, as some purchasers claim happens.

Long Lasting.

I have been wearing Keen hiking boots for 15+ years. They last me about a year while wearing them almost daily. So the quality is there and comfort too.

Great Boots, It Took Ten Years To Wear Them Out.

I bought these over ten years ago for backpacking, but for the last couple of years I have been wearing them as my everyday shoe because they are so comfortable, and they provide great support. I am sorry to be getting rid of them, but the soles no longer have tread, and some of the stitching is coming apart. Not bad for a decade or more of use.

Trash

Absolute trash. These boots used to be constructed well. A pair would last 2 or 3 years. With no change in treatment to the boots, the last 2 pair I have owned have fallen apart in less than 6 months. Buy better boots from a better company

Still One Of The Best Boots To Hike In

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had many Keen boots along the way. I have a pair of Targhee IV that are very good to walk in. I bought these because they hold my feet well. They come in a wide size which I need. And the soul is what's known as aggressive and I really like this. I can walk and stay up and go up and down hills and Dales and through forest and I can stay connected to the Earth. Not every shoe I have bought to hike in has been as good as this. I'm not really a fan of the modern trail runners used as hiking and backpacking boots. . These hold my feet and it holds to the Earth and my feet don't get nearly as sore or a squashed and narrow foot patterns as many of those trail runners that are supposed to be so good. I live in the southeast. This means that slick rocks roots mud and sand are all over the place when you're going to go out into the woods. And it will make you securely go through it and you won't even realize how tough it would've been in trail runners. To each his own. These are good they're comfortable they keep you secure to the Earth and they don't hurt your feet. Make sure if you've got a little bit water foot go ahead and get the Wides because it is worth it.

Comfortable And Durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just wrote another review for a different color, but exact style. This is the fifth pair I bought. Extremely comfortable, durable, and affordable. Excellent interior and exterior construction is perfect for any weather. I ride an e-bike to and from work on city roads. The boots provide impeccable protection for the commute. KEEN boots are the only footwear I buy for daily use. I have been buying them for many years.

Shoes Okay. Company Not So Much.

Shoes went on sale two days after I ordered mine, but they wouldn't refund the difference. Won't buy from them again!

Disappointed In Quality

I have only worn these a handful of times and they are coming apart. The rubber outsole is coming off the heal of the boot. Your quality has gone downhill, its a pity. These used to be my "go to" everyday shoes.

Will Never Buy These Again

Hands down these are the worst boots I have ever bought. The design of the boot with the slits on either side of the toe leads to the boots constantly tightning on my feet leading to discomfort and downright pain after a long day. Everyday I have to loosen the laces. On top of that the sole on one of the boots is now coming apart after only having them for several months.

Lots-o Miles !

old guy. . . 74 yrs. . . been lots-o miles in lots-o places. have worn out lots-o hikers and tried lots-o brands. Keen has consistently been my favs. No sore feet, no blisters, no hot spots after lots-o days on the trail. buy'em, you'll like'em!

Thank You!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you for the warranty on my Keen shoes! I love Keen shoes as they fit so well. If it wasn't for Keen, I would still be wearing poorly designed shoes resulting health issues involving my precious feet. Keen products are the best designed shoes that I know of. Rick.
