Targhee Iv Wide

I like the look of the shoes, as I slipped into them they felt comfortable, however the first time I used them a full day I got blisters around my ankle! And also felt that the she needed a little thicker inner sole, since the first use I have been using thicker socks and that stopped the blisters, however I believe I will be getting some gel soles for them.

Boss Boots

I put these on as soon as they arrived, and been wearing them since. I had been wearing San Jose for three years. This is a significant upgrade. Triple black with subtle accents looks so boss. These are real grip soles with an arch. No more flat foot shuffling. The lacing system is new to me, and works perfectly. No more eyelets, and the laces are much happier to perform. They seem to be alive. I can lace loose (relatively) or snug, depending on my groove, and the boot still moves with my foot, not off my foot. Its as if the body was engineered to suit multiple foot types, not giving up a true fit. Getting these on and off is not a chore. The toe box is perfect, and the toe flex outstanding. So glad I decided to change my style. Big 'Ups' to Keen. I absolutely love my new boss boots.

Very Comfortable But Poor Protection From Rocky Trail

Boots ran true to size and were very comfortable. On a smooth trail they would be great, as they were very comfortable and required nearly no breaking in. As a hiking boot being used on a rocky trail, I would advise against this boot. The Targhee II gives much better protection. I am trying the Durand II and hope it gives better protection on a rocky trail.

These Boots Fit Slightly Larger

These boots fit slightly larger than some of the other boots we’ve owned, so you may want to consider sizing down. That said, they have a really nice broken-in feel right out of the box - comfortable without needing much break-in time. My son loves them and has been very happy with the fit and comfort.

Great First Hiking Boots For A Future Philmont Trekker

My son’s Men's Targhee IV Waterproof Hiking Boots are his first real pair of quality hiking boots, and they have been fantastic so far. The fit was perfect right out of the box, and he found them comfortable from day one. One of the things we appreciated most was how quickly they broke in, with no long adjustment period before hitting the trails. He was ready to start hiking almost immediately. As he prepares for a Philmont trek next year, these boots have given him confidence and comfort on every hike. So far, they’ve been an excellent investment and a great introduction to serious hiking gear.

Wide Is The Ticket For Me

My fourth pair of teens. First time ordering the wide version. Should have done this sooner. No more corns the extra room in the toe area is a big improvement still snug in the heal. I'm gonna love these

Just Bought My 2nd Pair!

I just bought my 2nd pair of Targhee Hiking Boots and love them! I hike all kinds of terrain and these boots hold up and are very comfortable. I hike here in Iowa and also in Arizona, and they perform great in both places. Mostly going into the desert in Arizona, I really need a boot that will hold up, be comfortable and protect my feet from the harsh conditions that I usually encounter. Keen makes a great product, with high quality and recycled materials. That's my kind of company!

Perfect Fit, Comfortable

My wife is a USPS letter carrier and she walks 10+ miles a day in all weather conditions in the city and rural. A supportive and comfortable shoe is a must and her uniform requires her to wear black. These are a perfect fit and very comfortable for all day wear. She’s tried other brands but they all hurt her feet. Even though they are men’s, they fit perfectly, just get the size equivalent. Great support and gives her endurance for all day. these shoes are the only ones she can wear. Also they really are waterproof and great traction, excellent support. She did buy a specific insole that she prefers (timberland brand) but the ones that come with them are decent so she keeps them as a backup. I’ll definitely get her another pair, very happy
