Warm And Waterproof

I work at a local ski area where I’m on my feet for many hours a day in snow, rain, and cold. These boots were warm and amazingly waterproof. I didn’t expect a lace-up boot to be perfectly waterproof, but they didn’t leak for the entire ski season. I recommend them over rubber boots like Bogs that made my get sweaty and cold.

Great Hiking Boot

Got these boots for our oldest for a school hiking trip. He was able to handle the trails and finished the trek without having his feet hurt!

Impressed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a very happy camper and hiker since I got my Keen Targhee lV. As comfortable as any hiking boot, I have ever owned well worth the price. Keen has a new Customer for life! Will be trying these out this weekend on a lower leg of the Appalachian Trail in North Carolina. Come on get your boots on…. ; D

Uncomfortable

There is a lump on the left side, bottom of the tongue that presses into the arch on the top of my foot. It becomes very painful in short order. I need to move the tongue off to the side and this helps. Also a large band aid on the top of my foot also helps. Other than that, they are comfortable.

1 Pair Last 3 Months In Rough Terrains

I love how my shoes fit I go thought 4 pairs a year they wear down and a hard glue pokes my toes

Wonderful So Far!

I bought the Targhee IV as a replacement for my beloved Ridge Flex’s I’ve hiked and backpacked in for over 5 years plus, several sections of the Appalachian Trail, 2 Camino’s in Spain, over 2000 miles and many millions of steps plus just hiking trails in general. Unfortunately I’ve worn the treads down to nothing. The Targhees I ordered in a size 12 to give me a bit more toe room. The only addition I’ve made is to add an additional dense foam inner sole and treated them with SnoShield for the mucky wet trails. I bought them specifically for my 3rd Camino in Spain and Portugal coming up in September in which I will be walking some 600 plus miles not including the backpacking I’ll be doing beforehand . I gave them 5 stars because if they are anything like the Ridge Flex’s I have great expectations that they will be just as wonderful. I highly recommend the Targhee’s so far!

Nice Hicking Boot

I bought it for hicking and for a winter boot. I have had KEEN boot before and like them.

Water Proof Is Working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not 5 because time will tell if fused top and bottom do not separate. Humidity has morning wet hiking having other shoes separate in the past. Hot with water proof but much better than wet socks!

Great Boots

I like these. A a lot. Comforrabkebright out of the box. These are the sea turtle ones and I expected just green hint to the color but it seems change from green to light brown depending on the lighting. I like it. Overall great pair of boots.

Men's Targhee Iv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable from day 1 and I use them for hiking. They are by far the best shoes that I have ever had.

Heel Collasped On Wash

Washed mine and the heel completely folding in ruined the boot . . . I love it before that with an alternate insole but other then it completely being unwearable after washing was disappointing

High Hopes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good, I love how they feel, many more miles to go so too early to discuss durability but I like them so far.

Please Add Colors In Wide Width!

My husband loves wearing his Targhee IV waterproof hiking shoes every day! He’s a gardener and property mgr who is on his feet and moving all day long; Targhee has been a favorite and these finally hold up a lot better than the previous style! I’d like to get him the boots also for colder weather ik but the dark brown and black are the only available colors for his extra-wide feet. KEEN, why won’t you make at least one of your lighter and happier colors in Wide? You would have a grateful clientele, I’m sure!

Love Them

These boots are like walking on clouds! Lightweight yet rugged, the feel of slippers but tough enough to hike through the woods in rough terrain. Love them!

Very Nice Hikers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have no complaints with these. Great blend of comfort and durability aspects. Toe protection is excellent. Traction is as good as it needs to be - I have read some reviews that ding it on grip but I did not experience any issues on slippery rocks. Foot placement and balance skills are more important that the rubber and these are very capable. I love the roomy footbox due to having wide feet and the ankle support is really good. Add waterproofing and limited potential for de-lamination, I think I will be enjoying these for many years to come.
