Perfect Shoe For A Disc Golfer Or A Hiker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was nervous replacing my trusty discontinued Newport hiking shoes, but these have far exceeded my expectations. The grip, and support are great and provide comfort for long hikes. The waterproofing is good enough to keep my feet dry during a recent two hour hike in the rain.

I’ve had at least 3 pairs of the Targhee waterproof hiking shoes. My selection has included high tops and the regular hiking shoes. Although a little stiff in the beginning around 3 or 4 months of regular usage they start to break in nicely. The funny thing is, they last years and years and I get bored of looking at the same shoes so I continue to load up on these shoes. Keen by far is the best quality built brand on the market. I’ve worked and played outside for 60 plus years and I have tried every brand under the sun but Keen continues to impress. Last time I inventoried my stock of Keen shoes from dress up to dress down I think I had at least (8) pairs still in use. Please don’t follow all the previous outdoor shoe manufacturers and send your quality to cheaper manufacturers overseas or elsewhere . You got it figured out! Keep up the great work! Shout out from Virginia!

Teton Hike

got the shoes in just before heading to Jackson Hole, WY. Did three separate hikes, shoes were great. Sole is tough but flexible. Cleats good.

Love My Keen’s

I wear my Keen shoes literally everyday. I have an older pair for out in the yard. I have had 4 or 5 pair over the years and I find them very comfortable and durable. Some of the older models ran small but these fit true to size. I will definitely keep buying.

Great Shoe-mediocre Insole

Absolutely love the Targhee shoes. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because the insole provides very little/almost no arch support. I bought some super feet insoles and voila, ready for my Camino walk.

These shoes truly are waterproof! Very comfortable. Very durable

Good Quality And Durability

I previously purchased several pairs of hiking boots that have a combination of leather and mesh construction, all of which tore on both sides of the mesh above the toes. The mesh also did not stay waterproof for more than a month of hiking use. The only thing I don't like about these Keen hiking shoes is the coated nylon type shoelaces they come with, as they work their way loose unless you double tie them.

Durable Comfortable Cool Looking Hiking Shoes

Didn't think they needed breaking in until they "broke in," which unlocked their magic formula of pliability, support and comfort. The soles are super grippy, and the footbed/midsole/sole whatever gives me great trail feedback and protection - not overly cushy like some trail runners - they just feel right. Waterproof without getting hot and sweaty. A tad clunky but that's to be expected for this level of support. Great spacious toe box Like a Land Rover for your feet!
