[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Men’s WK400 is my first pair of Keens. I discovered the brand while reading reviews of a different major brand that many of my over 70-year-old friends wear. My goal was to find a pair of walking shoes that would fit secure enough to prevent falling. The reviewer said that Keens are made better, so I got on your website and somewhat warily ordered a pair, secure in knowing I could return them in thirty days. It’s the first pair of shoes I’ve ordered online because even in physical shoe stores, I am difficult to fit. One foot is slightly larger than the other. Hardly any brand fits me. When the WK400s arrived, I immediately saw how well-constructed they are. But would they fit? Like a glove. True to size. The toes on both feet have enough room. They were so comfortable out of the box that I took a short walk outside. Each day since I’ve taken a longer walk. Yesterday was the definitive test—I drove to San Francisco in the early afternoon to see an evening play and walked around the city for four hours without experiencing any foot pain or strain. The curve technology provided a bouncy but tight and secure step as I walked at a brisk speed on sidewalks both new and crumbling. I’ll wear these on cement and asphalt in dry and rainy weather. Today I tried on shoes I own and realized that most of them fit poorly. I’ll donate them to a non-profit organization and buy only Keens from now on. In fact, I’ve already bought the Keen Steen hiking shoe, which also fits perfectly. Soon I’ll wear them on a long hike. I expect the same great experience with a different Keen on a different terrain.
