Disappointed With This Version

This is my 3rd pair of Targhee boots but these do not seem to have the same level of arch support and cushioning as past versions of the same boot. They are supposed to be waterproof but only for very light rain or water exposure. Good ankle support and comfortable out of the box.

Comfortable Boot For Hiking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wore today for the first time and feet were completely comfortable .

Love

I love them. They are great for my my feet. I'm on my feet 9 hrs a day. I would buy them again.

Quality & Style

Love both the high quality and look of this boot. I’d wear them for my hikes and daily chores. Sadly, I needed to return them; I found the fit to be much bigger than my usual Keen hikers. I like to size up by 1/2 to accommodate a thick sock, but I was swimming in this pair. I’ll order my usual size and keep my fingers crossed that they’ll be a good fit for me.

Love Them!

I love your shoes i don't buy any others well unless it's dress shoes or such.

The Best Targhee Ii Yet

I bought my first pair of Targhee II mid boots in 2012, and have bought at least 4 more pair over the years. These just fit my feet so well. When the Targhee III came out I tried them, but Keen had changed the last and they didn't agree with my feet. I was so thankful that Keen kept the II version. Although, color choices were no longer updated each year. When I saw the Leave no Trace collaboration color I had to have them. These are the most comfortable Targhee IIs I've had. The cushion and arch support are great for my feet as I don't need a high, hard arch. The boot collar is soft and molded to my ankle in short order. The tongue is padded, yet soft and pliable - not stiff and irritating. I'm seriously thinking about ordering another pair!

Not Available On Wide Sizes

Love the shoe but can’t get one to fir because they don’t make a women’s wide. Will have to buy a men’s version.

Absolutely Love Keen Hiking Boots.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love KEEN hiking boots. They stand by their product. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to find truly comfortable boots. My feet thank them.

Impressive Durability And Comfort

I've owned these boots for eight years and have put some punishing miles on them. Considering the all-day downpours, snow, and muddy, soggy trails I've hiked in, I am amazed that I have never once gotten wet feet. These boots have worn well since day one. The only discomfort I've ever experienced was due to a poor choice of socks, which were too loose. Recently, a half-inch chunk of the sole traction got torn off after I scraped around on some rough rocks. The boots definitely show their use with scratches on the rubber and leather, but they are still functional and waterproof. I can't stress enough how much I appreciate gear that can be used well and hard and still hold up for so long. I will be replacing them soon because of the sole damage, which I attribute to my being rough rather than any fault of the boot. Although I would not hesitate to buy this boot again, I am considering Kenetrek or Lowa boots too as I have heard excellent reviews of both. In reality, I just like switching things up. If you are looking for a light, waterproof, all-round hiking boot, the Targhee II's performance and price is unbeatable.

Best Boots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing boot. Comfortable out of the box, wide toe area as described. I had my last Targhee II for 10 years, so no question I was replacing them with a new pair of the same. I have 3 other pair of Keen shoes for different purposes, all are comfortable and durable.

Love Them

They feel like my very old beat up pair Except newer, cleaner and a tad stiffer.

I Like The Fit With

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the fit with the snug heel and the open toes. The tread is great and it’s comfortable when you are hiking for long periods of time.

This Is My 2nd Pair

This is my 2nd pair of this shoe so I knew what to expect. I like that the toe box is wide without having to buy a wide shoe. My heel would slip out with a wide shoe.

This Is My 5th Pair

This is my 5th pair in a row over 5 years. I'm hiking the ICE AGE TRAIL and I love them. I also wear them daily in winter and while working on trail maintenance year round. Fit is super. I never need to break them in.

These Make My Feet Very Very Happy

Keens have always been great to me. This style of shoe I believe runs wider than a standard "normal" width on most shoes. The first time I tried a pair on at the store my feet immediately breathed a sigh of relief. Soooo comfy!!! I don't understand why narrow, pointed toe has become a standard shoe shape - Keens are actually wide and foot-shaped all the way to the toe. I have wide, flat feet with bunions and these make my hard-to-please feet very happy!! I have never gotten a blister while wearing Keens and there is plenty of room for swelling on long hikes. And such a reasonable price compared to most hiking boots out there. Would definitely recommend.
