Love The Color

I use these for landscaping. They keep my feet dry and are comfortable, to boot! Lol lol

Comfortable And Well-engineered Boots

I've only worn these boots on one short hike so far, and they're very comfortable. These boots provide excellent ankle support, good traction, an have a roomy toe box. They look well-built and I look forward to putting many miles on them.

Nice, But. . . .

Several years ago I suffered a leg injury resulting in my right foot becoming wider than the left. After several attempts at finding a better fit, I was advised to order a wide size. Now that I have tried it I have mixed results. Some days it feels fine. Other days it hurts my right foot to the point of taking the boots off. It has more to do with the foot bed than the width. It feels as though the bottom & the insert are too narrow and I feel my foot becoming numb and painful at that inside edge of the boot. This same thing happened to a previous Keen pair, Circadia and I can only wear that pair for short periods, not for a hike or a long day. I have been a Keen buyer for many years and usually buy the Targhee II (have had at least 6prs of those) but they have always fallen apart & separated after a year. At least I didn't have the fit issue but annoying they required constant fixing. I was happy to get the "non-separation" guarantee available with the Targhee IV but that matters little if I can't wear them all day without pain. I am at a loss why the Keen fit has changed so much. It seems the manufacturer or foot molds have changed and that is disappointing.

Happy Again

I previously gave the Targhee IV women's hiking waterproof boot three stars, because my pair came with no insoles and when I contacted Keen, they said I could return them and then order a new pair. I didn't want to go through all of that I just wanted them to send me a pair of insoles to put in the boots. After not getting another response for a week or two, I left a three star review. I've now received a pair of Keen replacement insoles and am happy again because I love these boots they're comfy, they have good grips, a wide tool box and I wear them everyday in the fall in winter for my daily walks. Thank you Keen for responding and fixing the problem. I would have adjusted my three star review but I didn't see a way to edit it.

I Love These Boots!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 pair of these boots! I love them that much. I wish more than 1 color was available in wide however.

I Love These Boots, But. . . .

I would give them 5 stars, because I absolutely love these boots. This is my second pair, BUT they came with no insoles. I contacted Keen and the response was that I can return them. I don't want to go through the hassle of packaging them up, returning them and then ordering another pair. All I want is for Keen to send me a pair of insoles. Otherwise the boots are great, good fit, wide enough toe box and comfortable to wear on my daily walks in the fall and winter.

Love These Boots!!

So incredibly comfortable. I struggle to find shoes that don't hurt my feet and these boots are a treasure. Highly recommend.

Thank You For Adding A Wide Option

Comfortable right away, they could be a tiny bit wider! but the best option I've found since my feet got wider with age.

So Disappointed In Targhee Iv

Never thought I’d give Keen a 3 stars so this makes me sadder than Keen itself I’m sure. I have had Keen Targhee 3 for years. Not 1, not 2, but 3 pairs! I have worn them out completely, they should be framed and put on my wall or something cause of all the places that we have visited together and all the challenging hike that we completed around the world. So it was very sad to say good bye to it and Taghee IV had big shoes to fill. Everything is pretty good with my new shoes, except, and this is a BIG ONE, the TRACTION!! I keep slipping in them, I can’t trust my shoes to grab on to the rocks while hiking and this make me scared sad and so disappointed!! Keen, what changed? IV should have been better than III, so how come it isn’t? I wish you still had III in my size (10 W). Ugh!! I miss my old reliable shoe friend 😩

Wonderful For Vacation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We do a lot of hiking each summer in Yellowstone. Shoes are comfortable

A Lot Of Room

These boots have a lot of volume. The length was correct, but I had a lot of room on the sides of feet and on top of the boot. I had to put 2 pairs of socks on to fill them out. I do have fairly low volume feet, but typically due not have to wear extra socks. I sent them back because I don't want to need to adjust to fit a shoe or boot ever. They were comfortable otherwise. Not the greatest color and they did look large on the feet.

Awesome Boots

My shoe store was unable to get wide width in Keen boots and these arrived in a week. They fit great

Yes They Are Wide Enough!

I’M IN LOVE! I have super wide feet at the toe box, but super short/small feet (size 5. 5 length and size 8 in regular width) and finding shoes is a constant struggle. And these babies fit! Hallelujah! Also very comfortable, durable, and I am going to take them to a few mountains to hike.

Wide Hiker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not hiked in these shoes yet, however I have worn them around the house. I am especially pleased with the wider size I was able to get. The boot is very flexible. I have noticed that Keen has changed how they make the sole. The bottom tracks are smooth and my old targhees have ridges on the bottom of the tracks. Time will tell if the boot will still grip the same on rocks.

Women's Targhee Iv - Love The Fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fit of the pair of women's Targhee IV. I have wide feet and this shoe in wide size fit me well. The reason of the 4 instead of the full 5 stars is because the sole padding is too hard, causing me some blisters after a few hours of walking. I decided to buy extra shoe padding and no more blisters.
