Just Bought My 3rd Pair Of Keen’s Whisper Sandals

I love them! Just bought my 3rd pair in over 12 years. The first two pair took me hiking at Joshua tree many times, rafting on the Yampa and McKenzie rivers, countless kayaking and camping trips, etc. The tread is just right for climbing rocks and tricky footing along rivers and keep my feet secure and in place - no slipping - and they last a long time.

If You Like Sandals, The Perfect Shoe

I bought these shoes in the smoke blue color about 6 years ago when pregnant with my first kid. I live in Texas so 98% of the year is sandal weather. I have LIVED in these sandals. They are just now coming apart. The smoky blue color is my version of a natural color and goes with absolutely everything. I wear these literally everywhere, all year round for nearly 6 years. The rubber toe bumper thing keeps my toes and upper feet safe while the sandals portion enables my feet to breath. I've gone to weddings, hiking, church, etc. They have carried me through 4 pregnancies & post partum with every other shoe stops fitting or hurts my foot. If I had to pick one shoe to wear forever it would be these. I'm hoping to just buy the exact same shoe, again and enjoy for another 6 years.

Whispers Are The Best

O LOVE all of my Keen footwear. Over the last few years, I have accumulated over 15 different pairs in different styles of Keen footwear! (Okay, so I'm a hoarder of Keen shoes) Anyhow, I wanted to let people know that I wear a women's size 8, and all but 3 pairs have been a size 8 and fit perfectly. The three pairs of 8. 5 that I have are slightly big. I gave my hiking boots to my daughter, and she just loves them. The other two pairs of sandals I can wear. The half size larger isn't too big of a deal. My three pairs of Whispers are size 8, and fit really nice.

Making Them Comfortable

I'm sorry they haven't been very comfortable. They fit tight and feel pretty stiff. But I'm trying to wear them a little longer every day and get them broke in. My first four pair, always felt great. I never had any trouble. I love the whisper keen sandals. They've always been my favorite. I wear them even in the winter.

Blisters

I was a long time Keene person. Then quality went down hill. Was talked into giving this shoe another try. Shoe is narrow, got blisters after only a few hours. Won’t be wearing then.

Wonderful Sandals

I have many pairs of Keen sandals, but these are the first Whispers that I've had. I LOVE them more than my others, and I love them all. I have the Retro, and the Newport, but these Whispers are by far much more comfortable, if that's possible. Maybe because they are lighter weight? However, I have a somewhat narrow foot, and I'm not so sure these would fit a wider foot. They fit my feet perfectly with not much room to spare. I wear a women's 8, and I ordered an 8, and they fit great!

I Love Keen Sandals

I bought these to replace a pair that finally gave up the ghost after more than a decade. Getting over sticker shock :) I have to say I love them. The color is nice and I find them very comfortable to wear and walk in

3rd Pair

I obviously love them since this is the 3rd pair in this style. The first pair wore out naturally after 10 to 15 years, my last pair the puppy got ahold of. . . this pair is just as comfortable and I use them for walks and yard work. I also have a pair in another style that I wear out as a dressier pair and love them as well. All are very comfortable!

Water Shoes

I’ve worn Keen whisper for 4 years as I volunteer at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. This is my 4th pair. Each of the others never hurt my feet as soon as I put them on. These are good but not as comfortable as the others. Seems one side on the outside right near the ankle is higher and rubs my foot. Hopefully I will be able to continue to wear them! These others had no breaking time.

Comfortable And Pretty

These shoes fit nicely and look great. Can wear them for hours without feeling tight. Ordered a 7 so there’s more toe space than usual 6-1/2 that I wear.

Love Them

Great Sandal, But A Bit Scratchy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these, but I have to spend time to break them in. My sensitive feet react to the scratchiness. It will take a while. It's probably just my feet. I have fibromyalgia, which makes the skin sensitive.
