[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the carrier since our toddler out grew a traditional close carry carrier and the Kelty has been perfect for our hiking needs and more comfortable when I carry the pack.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew this pack would be great based on other reviews and it didn't disappoint. So comfortable for me and the little one, has lots of storage and the packable sunshade is great too. If you're deciding between this and the step down model this one is definitely worth the extra with all the extra padding and features you get.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a little over a month ago and have used it on several hikes and it works great. My daughter is around 30 lbs and easily fits into it and is very comfortable. It's pretty comfortable to wear but my shoulders do get a little sore after a while.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this for our trip to South Dakota to carry our 6 month old in. I am 5’3 and husband is 5’10” and we were able to use the same settings, though it is very adjustable. I carried her up a strenuous trail (3.5 miles / 1500 ft elevation gain) and felt so cushioned and grateful for this pack. I carried her up the ladder at the Notch Trail in Badlands with her on my back also. We were able to fit plenty of extras in it as well! This one was cheaper than the Deuter and Osprey ones we were looking at and I’m so glad we bought this one. It is perfect. We saw another family on the trail with this exact pack and they loved it too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the child carrier 2 months ago and have used it extensively. With the ability to adjust straps and supports both my wife and I can wear the carrier and feel comfortable for long hikes. Multiple zip pockets allows you to bring any sort of belonging needed and the most important part is our toddler loves it and is comfortable while riding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently purchased the pack abs have been able to load my son up in it a put a few miles on it. Overall the pack is very well built with high quality fasteners and stitching. If there was one thing I’d like to see added it would be a water bladder reservoir pocket but I think the existing pouches will work for this. Pack feels good with my 22 lb boy in-tow. Eager to get in the mountains with it but equally excited for trips to parks and zoos.

Originally I was looking at the Kid Comfort Deuter packs becuase that is what I have for my kids but I chose this instead! I love how the shade cover is included with it unlike the Deuter and it is light weight and very comfortable! I may have to buy this one for myself as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to take short hikes with my boys, 2 and 10. My 2 year old grew out of his soft carrier over the winter and it was time to upgrade to a framed carrier. This one is perfect for our needs. It's comfortable for him, and he sits up much higher, able to look around rather than being squished against my back. The adjustability of the harness system was a big plus for me -- it took only a few adjustments to get the correct fit. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super impressed with this pack! And what a steal. Pretty sure it’s better than my grown up pack. Rollover safety check. Storage galore. Kickstand cos duh. And super supportive and comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my wife’s birthday since our son had outgrown the carriers he used as an infant. The best feature for the baby is really the space it offers and the vantage point. They feel secure, but still have room to look around and experience the hike. When they do fall asleep it’s comfy for them. For the parent, it definitely makes carrying a 25-30 pound kid easier and the backpack has everything you’d want to transfer the weight to the appropriate areas. Wish we’d bought sooner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently used this during a hike in Red River Gorge, KY. Our daughter is 24 lbs and we hiked a long rocky trail. She loved it, and my husband did too. Storage is great, and the shade provided an extra peace of mind that she wasn't getting a sunburn. Definitely recommend and look forward to using this for a long time to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how it sits on my hips and removes the weight from my shoulders. To pockets are easy to reach while on the move and I love the sun protection cover

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall great pack with lots of comfort for the kid, plenty of space to pack additional things for yourself and child. After an hour or so pack becomes a little uncomfortable on the shoulders (current baby Weight is 23lb) and a little difficult to get baby in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a few months back and have been on multiple hikes since then. It’s nice having something for when the little one gets tired and needs a ride. Light when empty and distributes the weight good when he is riding. We are happy with the purchase.
