[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the Kelty Strider Hiking Staff Trekking Pole and immediately put it to use in the Texas Hill Country. Lightweight, easy to transport and assemble. Locks into place securely and the height is just right for me at 5'8". Grip is comfortable and secure. Supports the stress I've put on it so far. Sleek and simple design is what I was looking for; and got it. My girlfriend and hiking companion liked it so much, she used it for the rest of the hike. Think I need to buy another one... Rated 4 of 5 stars for durability because it's only been in one month of use so far.
