Terrible

This is a piece of garbage. Received it today Aug. 1 , went out for a hike, bottom part collapsed 1/2 way thru the hike would not lock in place, locking mechanism just turned and turned. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this product.

Good Pole For Hiking Peaks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this pole to hike Baden Powell, San Gorgonio, and San Jacinto peaks. So far so good. It does what I expect it to. Easy to use. I haven't used other poles before so I don't know how this compares to others, but I'm happy with it and hope to keep using it for a while. The only downside is that at its shortest length, it's not small enough to fit in my pack (versus a foldable pole) but that's not an issue for me since I can still attach it to the outside of my pack.
