Rated 2 out of 5 by from not a good life vest the only thing this life vest is truly good for is a back rest in a kayak....as far as wearing it...UM NO...we were in the middle of a storm and it was required to wear this [*] thing....as i paddled in a kayak my paddles kept hitting it over and over and it was soo close up to my neck i will invest in getting somthing else!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Literally perfect I just bought a kayak, and the law says I need to have a Personal Flotation Device. After looking at some super cool Neoprene top-of-the-line $80 life vests... I made the executive decision to only spend $10 on this perfectly legal PFD. No tickets for me!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not recommended if you are big from top We did not like the way this product felt on us. My husband is muscular from top and it was very uncomfortable for him. I am not as big as he is and it did not felt comfortable either. I returned both of them and bought the regular life vest

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A basic life jacket This life jacket is a basic one, we have to have one on board. We are not planning on going out to sea.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gets the job done! Don't need a fancy life vest to protect you! Just strapped this onto my kayak and I'm good to go!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It works The one in-store doesn't have top ties. Only a buckle at the bottom. The photo emailed asking for a review doesn't match the product I bought. Actually both products I bought in-store and was emailed for a review. Neither photo matches the product. For $8.99 they're probably selling a bunch of baitcasting reels designed for left handed person's to right handed person's. The life jacket is good for $8.99.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good enough I bought them for my little niece and nephew when they were visiting us at the lake for a week. There inexpensive ($9) and good enough to keep the kids safe and legal when boating. No reason to spend big bucks on the fancy ones when the kids will only use them a few times. Pop for the nice ones if you spend a lot of time on the boat.
