Rated 3 out of 5 by from Kent Throwable Foam Cushion I'm not too sure about these throw able flotation cushions they seem to be 2 sections inside instead of 1 flotation piece. Hope that does not take away from the durability of the product. Also think the price could have been better but was not unreasonable. We plan to use them as a seat cushion more than for flotation but since it feels like 2 slices of bread in the cushion cover they seem to slide apart some. We have not used them yet but will be in the near future.

I purchased this item to use in my kayak for 2 reasons: one being safety of course and the other to use as a seat cushion but I am very disappointed with the "cushioning" part. I have an older one that has a thick piece of foam in it but with age, it was starting to deteriorate. So I purchased a new one only to discover it is very hard and uncomfortable. Even my old one is 100% better than this one! Why don't they make things like they used to????

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works as expected Purchased two of these to use as combination padding on canoe seats and extra flotation devices. As padding for a seat, it's a bit too hard to be really comfortable. It's better than the flat plastic seat of the Coleman Scanoe, but I will probably come up with a better cushion for the seat. Let's face it, the primary function is as a throwable flotation device and it meets that need very well. I don't think it would stand up to daily use. The material is tough, but fairly thin. Certainly wouldn't hurt to have a couple of these in your boat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Inexpensive and Gets the Job DONE! I bought this because I need a throw able PFD on the boat. The is much thicker than I thought. I might even be comfortable to sit on. Best thing is that it is inexpensive at $12. I wish it came in the color orange, but red was close enough. I really liked white, but I was worried that it could be a stain magnet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great cushions The only thing keeping this from a 5 star is that I could not choose the color cushions I wanted; I ordered 4 cushions and got 3 white and one red. I would rather have had all the same color or two of each color. I had to have the clerk see if they had other cushions at another local Dick's and then drive there to switch out the ones I didn't want. Kind of a pain that this information wasn't available when I ordered online. Other than that, perfect for my little boat.
