Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Really Good Knife for Every Application This knife is overall a very good price to performance knife. The assisted opening is very easy to open, even the thumb studs work with enough practice. The knife is very sturdy, aside from a VERY slight blade wobble. The knife has shredded everything I normally cut with a knife, and then some. This thing shreds cardboard, wood, twine, and much more. I've used it on minor hikes, and it can cut through vegetation, and with enough strikes, some of those big vines that might block your way. The multiple position pocket clip is very nice if you want a more comfortable position. All in all, this knife is a great knife if you're looking for a knife that is both cheap and reliable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Value Knife Haven't had the best experience when it comes to non-US made Kershaw's but I was pleasantly surprised with the Cryo. Arrived at my house fairly quickly. Unfortunately it came in a blister pack not a box like I prefer but not a huge deal there. Fit and finish on this knife is excellent and feels like a US made Kershaw in hand. Just a light touch on the flipper and the knife deploys like butter. Speed is excellent as expected from Kershaw SpeedAssist. Thumbstuds are almost useless but with a little practice and a modicum of pressure you can release the blade. Love the hinderer blade shape and jimping. Framelock closes fairly easily after getting the hang of it. Only real qualm with this knife is the weight but still an incredibly high value buy at only $40.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought for Fathers day Bought this for my dad for father's day. He LOVES it, the only knife I have seen him actually EDC. The only downside, he brings it back to me to sharpen. Love ya dad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from wonderful knife for a great price! hitting above the grade. had the cryo 1 , and just found out about the cryo 2 , so i had to have it ! it's a really good knife for the money and bigger than I expected A( a good thing) very solid lockup and over lock protection , very sharp out of the box, and feel and act more expensive than it is , the blade steel is fine and easy to sharpen ( 8cr13mov) and you cant go wrong with this purchase especially when you have a 10$ rewards coupon to use !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super sharp blade and stylish frame This knife is very sharp and just as importantly to me, it is comfortable to wear in my pocket for long periods of time. I wear slacks and a button up shirt for 9 hours a day at work and it is important to me that my pocket isn't printing with a thick pocket knife (this knife is thin and flat, so it leaves very little print). Also, knife has a durable build and a good overall feel to it. I am very happy with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great knife! This is my first Kershaw folder and I'm very pleased. It is also my first flipper assisted opener. It opens nearly as easily as my automatics. The blade was very sharp out of the box and the frame lock works very well. The handles look and feel very well made and the pocket clip can be moved to suit any preferred style of carry. I like this knife so well that I now need it's big brother the Cryo II for my collection.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Low cost EDC knife The knife features average steel, so it will need to be sharpened regularly. It is a bit on the heavy side, but it is still light enough for EDC use. The build quality could be a little better as the blade centering is not very good. The Speed Safe opening is very cool. There are better knifes, but at this price point the Cyro is a fun addition to my collection.
