Rated 5 out of 5 by from Other Knives Just Aren't The Same I carried this knife every day for almost a year, it served me well and remained razor sharp until the day I lost it with minimal sharpening. The knife is overall quite slim, yet it fits my hand quite well. It's nicely balanced, ergonomic, and the speedsafe is nice and crisp. I'm able to quickly and effortlessly flick open the blade with ease. The only two downsides is the blade's thickness towards the tip and the other downside is also one of it's positives:Once it's in your pocket or clipped on to your pants it practically disappears. Must've not noticed it was no longer there at some point.I will very much likely purchase another to replace my leek.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome knife! I absolutely LOVE this knife. It is a great everyday carry knife. When holding this knife, it is easy to decern that the material and build is of a high quality. The assisted opening feature works flawlessly time after time. The blade comes out of the box very sharp, but also withstands being re-sharpened many many times without damaging the blade. I have bought at least 10 of this exact same model in all of the different colors. Every time I lose one I always go back and buy the "Leek". Because I prefer this size of knife (with an assisted opening feature) as an everyday carry; in the past I have purchased "comparible" knives that were similar to this one but were less expensive. The other knives never actually hold up to my "gold standard" which is the Kershaw Leek Drop Point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great EDC knife. Got this as a gift for my dad so I don't have much practical hands-on use to base my review on but after a lot of research and other reviews I have to agree this a great feeling knife. The tapered blade allows you to do some fine jobs. I wish we had picked up the part serrated for a little extra functionality, but this Sandvik steel is beautiful and RAZOR sharp out of the box. Speed assist open pops this thing out in a flash too. Whether you've got your hands full or need a blade right away -or both- you get it with this knife. Also, very slim and sleek knife with a nice density -not too heavy or light- and a very sturdy feel in hand. A great knife for a balance of budget and quality materials and craftsmanship. Hoping to get one for myself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this knife Fantastic knife! This is my second one and I love it. Easy one hand retrieval even with the blade lock. The blade lock is easy to get use to and works well. It is plastic but kershaw will replace it for free if it brakes and I was very happy with the ease of the warranty process too. Never leave home without it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Knife has a solid build and nice quality. This knife is by far the best knife I have ever owned! I have owned many knives and none come even close to the quality and construction of how well built this knife is. The knife is easy to handle and easy to flip open with one hand. I do not always like to use switchblade type of knives as the switch always tends to break after multiple uses but this knife has held its own since I bought the item. Solid choice for anyone to decide on if someone is in the market for a solid knife that is American made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pocket Knife I bought this knife because I was tired of buying cheap knives that would quickly dull or fall apart. I have been using this knife now for more than a month. I live and work in Afghanistan, so having such a handy device in the pocket is a must. So far the knife remains sharp and the clip keeps it securely in my pocket. Since this knife has a spring assist to open the blade, I really like the added feature of the lock that prevents the knife from opening up in my pocket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent choice! This blade, like any other Kershaw I've owned, is an excellent choice. While not the cheapest, the proverbial "you get what you pay for" applies. The combination of the spring loaded assisted opening and safety slide latch are ideal for carrying this razor sharp tool. I've never had one open inadvertently, and if it would happen, it would be a disaster simply because the blade comes razor sharp. Blade also appears to hold an edge well over time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Knife I Own I have a number of knives. This one seems to be made out of forged steel, super sharp and great for everything. Light weight, easy flip to open. 5 out of 5 from me. I bring it on every boy scout's trip, hike, etc. Just bought my son one. I do a lot of whittling and it is ideal for it, I've used the knife a long time and it remains sharp as a razor. My first one, my daughter broke off the tip, so be careful. The company / Dick's replaced it.
