Horrible Chair
Absolutely horrible. Handle broke first day we had it. Never buy again. Screws came out and fell apart 2nd day we had it.

Comfortable, But Made Modifications.
All the reviews are accurate, the locking mechanism on the chair is garbage. If it wasn’t exactly what we wanted, I would have retained them. First sit down the locks were buckling. I however, added 4 cotterless hitch pins to the locking mechanisms so they can’t fold unless the pins are taken out. I we have had no issues since adding them into the supports, worked like a charm.

Do Not Purchase
After about 3 months…this chair; while comfortable, DOES NOT LOCK, and constantly closes when you’re sitting in it. Why Dicks still sells this chair makes no sense. DO NOT PURCHASE.

Sturdy, Nice High Back
Bought this for my husband who has back problems. He loves it. He's 6 foot and it's nice that this chair has a tall back. I can't speak to it not locking in place after 2 uses because it is currently in use on our front porch. We aren't lugging it around to ballparks. So far we are pleased with this purchase.

Terrible. We bought two and the locking mechanism on both is constantly coming undone and not just when you shift or change positions… even sitting still it will pop up Beyond annoying and I truly regret purchasing these chairs.

Go For The Gci One
This chair is a piece of scrap metal. Locking mechanism didn’t work for the backrest does not function properly. Only used it twice and second time was when we really noticed the malfunction of the back. Unfortunately it was after the return policy time and dicks sporting goods only offered a 4.00 refund.

Awful Chairs!
These chairs are absolutely terrible, and all the negative reviews you’ve read are spot on. We misplaced our receipt, and Dick’s only offered us a measly $4.00 refund for this chair. We’re incredibly disappointed.

Heavy, Not Stable, Seat Fabric Broke Away From Frame.
Bought mid-summer 2025 and used lightly on patio (too heavy to lug to park/outdoor concerts). Seat bottom broke away from frame (130 pound woman using it) after a few uses this spring. Was stored inside during winter. Braces on back give way during use, so not stable. Do not recommend purchasing.
