I bought this mat several years ago, but I haven't used it much. Recently, it has started springing "pinhole" leaks where the layers are laminated together. I've successfully patched a couple of the leaks, but more have appeared, even with no further use. I would make a warranty claim, but I've unfortunately lost the receipt.

Great product. Lightweight and awesome for when my wife and I backpack together, as our individual sleeping pads would slide apart. Also great for a shorter trip on my own with some extra comfort. The other pad I own is thicker but this has great air pocket shapes so you don’t feel the ground still.

My partner and I have used this backpacking many times, we both love it (double mat it SO nice for two people), but also it seems to randomly lose air. And I don’t think there’s a hole that I can find. The unreliablity is horrible for backpacking as I want to be sure that I’ll get a good nights sleep.

For the size it does its job well. The inflation/storage bag is a neat design. The inflation bag actually inflates the mattress fairly quickly. I just wish overall it was a bit bigger. I end up putting a foam mattress over it as a combo bed. This is great for someone just getting into camping. Beginner rated. Maybe just buy a foam mattress and don’t buy this though. Can’t go wrong with this one but there are better ones out there.

I was hoping this lad would be the solution for the gap between my wife and my sleeping pad. Although it did solve that problem neither of us were comfortable after 8 nights of trying to make it work. Since we weigh significantly different we both need different air pressure for comfort. I was either on the ground because pressure was too low for me or she was sleeping on a rock because pressure was too high for her. Not to mention any time either of us would roll over it would bounce and move the other around. Will not be using this again. Maybe would work for a couple that are the same weight but I’d guess you would still be bouncing around every time the other half moves.

Worked great for 4 weeks in a row and now, every week camping during RAGBRAI for the past 3 years, it develops a leak in the bonded ‘dimples’ and it’s flat before morning. Moving target repairs, very disappointing.

Pad is comfortable and durable. The pump sack is small and takes a long time to fill the pad. They should honestly just rip off Nemo’s design

Its not for two people and is very uncomfortable to sleep on. I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I bought this a few years ago and I loved it when sleeping alone because I like to roll and so the whole bottom of the tent was padded and I could roll around and I wouldn't roll off of my sleeping pad. However, want to sleep on it with my husband it goes flat every time. We can't find a hole but unfortunately this makes it basically unusable for us. I assume this is because we are both rough sleepers but I don't know

I bought the Klymit Double V Sleeping Pad a few years ago for camping trips with my family, and it has held up great. It retains air well, packs down nicely, and meets our needs without any issues. My wife and I use it together, and despite some reviews mentioning leaks, we haven’t experienced any problems. While it’s a bit large for backpacking, it’s perfect for car camping or setting up camp close to the vehicle. I also tested it in a hammock—despite Klymit offering a hammock-specific pad—and it worked surprisingly well. It fit nicely in a larger hammock and kept me warm through the night, though I did notice a slight slip toward the foot end. If I were to buy again, I might opt for the insulated version for better warmth when sleeping on the ground, but for use in a hammock or cot, this pad does the job really well. Overall, it’s a solid choice for car camping and short hikes into camp, and it even works well in a hammock.

I sleep more comfortably on this pad than I do on my own bed. Simply adjust air pressure to the perfect firmness and sweet dreams. Love it!!! -Josh De Vos

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The company really kept their words. Lifetime warranty products. My Double V air pad had a leak. They sent me a replacement no question ask. Thank you sending me the new pad. I love the product light weight, comfortable and compact to travel with.

Pretty great mattress, fit snug in my MSR 2 man hubba hubba. Only wish bag to pump in air was a bit larger.
Have had this a couple of years and, while we are not frequent campers, we have used for four or five back-country canoe trips during that time. So... not an unreasonable amount of use... Nevertheless, mattress loses gradually more air each trip and a faster rate. Thinking this could be a simple fix with a patch kit, I inflated the thing and dunked it in my hot-tub. What I found were at least five micro-holes in the awkward space where the "bubbles" on the mat are sealed. Given how many holes there were and the difficulty in sealing them, I decided to forgo playing whack- a-mole with my patch kit. Likely I'll buy a competitor's product.

I purchased this mat as a solution for my Wife and me sleeping together while camping. The First 2 nights we spent on it were great, and we had comfortable warm nights of sleep. However, on the last night, it deflated while we were sleeping which I thought was quite odd as the matt hadn't been moved at all. Upon coming home I attempted to fix the "punctures" using a spray bottle and seam seal. However, after patching 6 or so areas I realized that there were 100s of tiny bubbles coming from most of the seams on the matt. In the photos, you can clearly see where the face material is delaminating and how the air is escaping. This is unfortunate as I love the other products I have from Klymit, this one just seems to be an EPIC fail, that is clearly not reliable to use in the field and has been cheaply constructed when compared to Klymits other products. If you are in the market for a Double-wide sleeping matt look elsewhere........
