Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use This is a great mat. Comfortable and easy to use. Directions say it takes 10-15 breaths to inflate, but it took me about 20 breaths. It was very quick to inflate. The hardest part about inflating it is figuring out how the valve works. You have to twist and pull up or down at the same time. Once you get it, it's easy. The mat itself is surprisingly comfortable. It's light and compact. You can quickly and easily roll it up and put it in its carrying back. Very lightweight. Aside from using for camping, my son likes to use it on the living room floor to watch TV. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Side Sleepers should love this. Full disclosure: I will not give anything a 5 star rating unless it is perfect. For example Blade Runner would get 5 stars. I really like this pad. Good: 1. I like orange. 2. It inflates easy (but my breaths must be smaller than theirs). 3. I used this when I weighed 240 lbs and could sleep on my side without my hip poking to the ground. 4. It actually fits in it's stuff sack. 5. It was warm in February with snow on the ground in Yosemite with a 20 degree down bag and a fleece. How I would like it better: 1. If it was lighter. 2. If it had a way to affix it to sleeping bag so you don't roll off of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MUCH better than sleeping on a foam mat... Purchased this for backpack camping and it is the best mat I've slept on to date. Doesn't make that paper sound when you roll over like some of the lighter weight ones do, and keeps me off the ground. About 10 - 15 puffs to fill it. So far durable and comfortable 2 times out, once on the ground and once in a lean to.. I am 6'1' about 230lb and it holds me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've never slept so well in my entire life Don't get me wrong, I love a good nights sleep as much as the next guy but I've never slept so well while camping in life. This sleeping pad was like a cloud that was wrapped in angels wings while Barry White sang a love ballad to me. The pad was so great that I'm considering putting one down on my bed at home just so I can continue to sleep like a god.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes cool temp backpacking comfortable and warm On a spring backpacking trip with pretty chilly evening temps this worked well. At the time I only had one of these. We had 3 women in a tent, myself and another with the regular static v and the Raynaud's syndrome woman in the insulated version. The regular gals were freezing and didn't sleep well due to the cold, but the insulated kept the woman with Raynauds comfortable :) All the statics have changed backpacking for me! I NEED comfort, and these deliver. As long as I'm warm, I sleep awesome in these. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THE best sleeping pad! My girlfriend and I've each had one of these for around 2 years. I tell everyone to get one. They are the most comfortable and warm sleeping pad, I've ever used. I'm a big guy and a side sleeper and they keep me warm and off the ground. Never had any problems. They are easily as comfortable as my bed....maybe better! They are such a great product, I bought the Klymit Motion 60 pack as well, and have been VERY happy with it, too. Don't even look at other pads....just buy this one! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WARM! Best sleeping pad I have ever had. Been through several of the other brands attempts at a pad and the don't hold hold. I actually used the patch kit that came with the klymit to fix my old pad so a friend could use it. Size and weight are great on this model. This being the insulated version it's a tad bigger and has a few more ounces to carry in your pack is all worth it on a cold night. I can easily get mine to pack / roll down to the size of a Nalgene bottle. My girlfriend now has one of these and I just got 2 of the non insulated static v's for the kiddos. I also have one of the pillows but I have had it out camping yet. I have my eyes on the pack boat next, have some high alpine lakes in mind for it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not too bad but not good either. This sleeping pad is better than sleeping on the bare floor there's not much difference from sleeping on the pad than sleeping on a soft patch of grass. Twigs, sticks, and rocks/bumps on the ground are noticeable when laying on the pad. It takes about 20-25 deep breaths rather than 10-15 as advertised on the label. The best use for the pad is for people that are packing light for hikes lasting multiple days. If used for this purpose the pad might be worth 3 stars.
