Ask And You Shall Receive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to find an adapter to the drop down tow hitch on the Volvo XC90 for my Yakima 4-bike rack. I had asked about a fit and received a post to assure the fit. The extension adds on some length but it’s sturdy and allows me to still use the bike rack.

Great Hitch Extension

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed so I could open the tailgate of a Chevy Colorado while a NV 2.0 is attached. This provides just enough clearance to do so, and also provides additional approach clearance to compensate for extended length.

Worked Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked perfect to bring my rack past my spare tire on my new Bronco. The steel was super thick. The unit was very heavy and worked great with my new rack. Has a durable finish. Yet to be seen if it will rust.

Solid And Easy To Install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this hitch h extension to raise the height of my Kuat Sherpa bike rack a little. I have a Chevy Equinox and the hitch height is too close to ground for my comfort. This product installed in 5 minutes using the included tools and raised my hitch 2.5”. It has made my bike rack more useable on rough terrain. I’d recommend it as a great value for an extension. I used the 7” extension but if you want you can use the second set of holes and extend the hitch another 10”.

Very Nice, But

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great item, well built, but just doesn't work for me. Wanted more room between vehicle and bike rack but even with the lift the extended length causes scraping of my rack on my driveway and even some intersections in my neighborhood. Will keep as it may work better with a future vehicle.

Rock Solid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great on my Jeep with Kuat bike rack! No rattle or sway and extended the rack enough to clear the rear spare. since Jeep is lifted, this also give me the option to flip it and lower the bike rack a bit for easier access.

Solid Hitch Extension

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this extension to allow my Kuat Sherpa to clear the spare tire on my Jeep Wrangler. The 2” drop also allowed my tailgate to swing all the way open when the rack was tilted. That was a bonus! The welds are solid and the piece is better constructed than any others that I looked at. My only beef is that it should come with a lock. My Sherpa rack is locked to the extension, but an adjustable wrench is all that’s needed to swipe the extension and the rack off my Jeep. I did purchase a lock from Kuat, but it’s a 2 week wait. I would have paid for the extension/lock combo together if available at the time of purchase.

Great Addition To An Awsome Rack!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Kuat Hi-Lo to install my NV2.0 on our Jeep Wrangler. Without the Hi-Lo I could only run 1 bike and the rack wouldn’t fold up due to interference with the spare tire. Adding the Hi-Lo is just what the doctor ordered! Remedies all clearance issues and I can take 2 bikes again. The height adjustment is a nice feature as well, I’m running it in the high setting which allows the backup camera to have a decent view with the bikes loaded. Couldn’t be happier! This is a must have accessory for all Jeep owners.

Now I Can Open My Jeep Back Door!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sturdy. With the drop and extension I can now tilt the rack down far enough so that I can open the back door on my Jeep Wrangler with 35" tires. Yay!
