It was easy to install and exponentially increases the functionality of the bike rack - particularly if you have a SUV or hatchback where you need to get into the back of the car. Simple to use - unlock the arm, pull the lever to release and watch the whole rack gently swing to the side! Perfect for that "oh shoot" moment when you realize you need to add something else to the rear storage and you've already mounted your bikes or want to get lunch midway through your drive.
